Growing up most of us was taught to play it safe and take no risks. Most of our lives we’ve taken risks and didn’t realize it was a risky. Working on a job for 20 years waiting to retire and somehow lose the job or quit bc new rules etc. is far more risky bc of the length of time. If you can’t get life changing info from your circle of friends you probably have a cage . I had this and had to cut off some friends bc we didn’t have no where near the same vision.

That’s so ridiculous….she knows she is a black woman? She is biracial….it does not matter how she lies about her heritage…she is black and white….and that’s who she is period. Halle Ike fake ass Paul patton they both pander to blacks when it’s convenient because they don’t want some black people to feel insecure. So, they pander to help some black folk feel better about themselves, but at the end of the day, Halle like Paula patton won’t be given up their roles to black women. They are constantly replacing black women,,,and so many fools on this thread cannot even see it. Hollywood has a preference for mixed race people over black people. Unfortunately we don’t control the media and the narrative so any one can be called black now. If you are 15% black, you can identify as black. Also blk men play a huge role in this. Eg calling Kim K black all because she married a blk man. So stupid. Imagine calling Tamron white because she is married to a white man. Unfortunately black people are don’t see that in the next years, the half blacks will be chosen over full blacks as they will be deemed “less trouble”.

I have been noting lately comments that this person has or that person has class....something is wrong back in the day no one mentioned just acting "normal" was class? In my eyes they were just acting "normal". I am a black woman but I am not from the US so I am wondering what does this mean?

@@johnson2joy What my great grandmother explained to was that all around the world we as black people our skin complexion various. There are black people whose skin are so fair that they could pass for white. There are others and their skins maybe brown and some dark. There are different shades of skins tones. However my great grandmother and grandmother were referring to slavery here in America when White man would have sex with the slave women and they gave birth they some times would come out looking white or maybe light brown. Back than in my great grandmother and grandmother times they were referring to them as color people. I hope this helps.

@@theronedawson3236 Thank you for taking the time to explain, but you see it does not only apply to the USA because this also occurred in the Caribbean and South America as a consequence of "Chattel Slavery", which we never really addressed and "healed" from. I have a close family friend from Southern Africa that comes from a family of "mixed race heritage", where "colourism" is a serious issue and no one speaks of. He is almost white looking and his brother as dark as Wesley Snipes..... The family were forced to flee South Africa because the "authorities" under apartheid wanted to send him to a "White Only School". "Colourism" is a legacy due to 400 years of trauma! Time to Heal.......but, "How is the Question?"
