Sorry! I know you guys made a good effort to make this short film historically accurate but why are these guys talking like it's the 19th Century Western USA? 😂😂😂😂😂

Good job man :)
I thought it was great! Good job to u and all involved
You actually have the Viking face.
Seems those vikings were even more aggresively crazy than sixgun outlaws of the Wild West 800 years later.
Very good sword fighting. Compares to the real thing. You can see real life machete fights on Liveleak...anyone choreographing fight scenes should watch them....

Thanks so much!
Given the context of the story I think it would have made a better ending if you would have proceeded at least another 15 minutes worth of vengeful torture
The accents ruin it for me

Yeah me too. The accent
american english speaking vikings...a proof they´ve been over the ocean ;-)
Maybe an axe could be more fun, but mainly the accents yeah. The clothes I get, it isnt easy to make, especially the vests and all.

Thanks for the feedback!
A few rough spots and the accents, acting, and sword fights took away from the film. Looked way to unrealistic for me to enjoy

Nathan Bullock The choreography definitely needed work. All comes down to better pre-pro. Thanks for the feedback!
Great cinematography. But the story is very weak. If you actually need to read the synopsis to understand the meaning of the movie, then you are doing something wrong.

René Jørgensen Agreed. The story needed work. All apart of the learning process! Thanks for the feedback!
too much camera movement. the tripod film (boundless) was the best one.

I do not know, maybe it is a rolling shutter effect, maybe the youtube compression but camera pans look choppy. 0:20 6:44 In the fight scene, the camera movement is good. what i like about the boundless movie on your channel is that the camera sometimes comes really close to the face and you can see the emotions much better. the action doesn't happen there by moving the camera, but by a cut and the repositioning of the camera. this gives that movie a much more professional look. it is like looking at a diashow and with each picture (camera position) the emotion changes. every different camera setting is thought about and a change in the apperture or the zoom or the distance have an effect on the viewer. the camera shows every single (important) detail. in this hall of the fallen video it looks like somebody is just carrying a camera on his sholder and hasn't given much thoughts about the scene. but still a great movie. i like the orange blue contrast.

Thanks for the honest feedback! It's better to learn from people's criticism than people's praise!
