This situation sounds IDEAL. i am so happy for you. this concept of time and somehow getting more done when we are on tight schedules is fascinating to me. i definitely am a victim of this. i believe it is called Parkinson's law. it's a problem - be great to get your angle on how you brought this issue under control during your phase of unemployment. thanks so much for all your useful content.

So0hie, Yay! I'm so happy you found a job that sounds like a great fit for you. My Hubby has flexible hours & can work as many hours as he wants to we love it. If something comes up & he needs time off, he can do it. We were on vacation & we could take as many days off as we wanted. You'll love it. I'm happy for you. 😊

The flexible schedule sounds ideal, but couldn't you also take a break from working? Between your husband's job, your KZread channel, your mail order side job, and 2 young children, you're already quite busy. Be a SAHM till the kids go to school, and spend more time with them?

Unfortunately the income I generate as a lawyer is nowhere near my side hustle. If I was a full time SAHM I probably would have to cut back on "sophisticated" and even saving daycare costs we would still be missing out on significant income without me working and maybe surprisingly, I really don't make much doing this, and consider it more of a hobby. I wish it wasn't all financial but its a big factor for sure!! It's also hard to stop practicing law for a few years and re-enter the workforce...
