nah they're alright, not being famous. They do the music they want, get to live the life they want and they don't get to be bothered by the media.

@@carlosmpizzi You definitely have a point :) I just meant that we make the wrong people famous dependent on the chemistry and skills of their perfomance... their songwriting is way more advanced than all the stuff you hear on the radio. I love their music and i like the fact that they are still able to perform their own music without the influence of the media or being manipulated by labels and stuff :)

@@blackriver4790 Sure I get your point, I can argue though that 'making' people famous equals to using the media to push them to appear everywhere and manipulating their image to suit how many people they can reach. Also their music isn't bound to become mainstream because of the complexity of the songs like you mentioned.

Maximizing their performable area!

Favourite Boy is the song that I would have my young teenage daughters listen to at first to get them hooked so I can them trap them into listening to Razorblade right after.

Saw these guys in San Francisco. One of the best live shows I've ever been to.

100%. I watched this for the first time about 3 days ago and I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. Finesse.

I have been watching these guys since day one, they have only matured and grown in there skills above all else.. they deserve the recognition and attention beyond doubt!.. timing was not on there side during these hard times. I can not wait until I see you live again my friends, one of the best performers I have seen yet. All the best, forever supporting you.

Always one of my top fave bands to see live. Their music speaks (or rather sings) to my soul.

Half Moon Run has been one of my favorite band discoveries of the past year. the melodies/phrasing, rhythms, and harmonies are fresh. Hope they can swing by Portland, OR in the near future.

I have to disagree that their older stuff is better. All of their music is amazing.. they keep adding and growing and evolving into better and better musicians, and it’s so much fun to watch.

The harmonies they guys come up with is just sublime. Very much talented 🎶

yeah this band chronically never gets the love it deserves. one time saw them at a club in DC and the crowd was obviously mostly randos that walked in, just talked over the show the whole time. so insanely good, and I hope to see them again (with a hopefully more loving audience)

One of the best live bands I have ever heard and seen. Incredible musicians.

I am so glad that I got to see them live in Troy Ohio with Mumford and sons. They have become one of my favorite bands.

CBC music it really was an awesome show. There were also many other bands like Edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros and old crow medicine show.

I love the way each of them is multitasking with different instruments etc.. One of my fav bands

Amazing band , classic style very addicting to listen in any time very relaxing and very very different, but good way . Amazing!!!!!

I can't believe this talent is not moving the world with their skill and creativity.

Dang-Black Diamond has a Midnight Cowboy feel, a late 60s/early 70s vibe that is awesome. These guys have truly honed their craft, and love the harmonies. Looking fwd to seeing them live again.

Yessssssss razorblade YesssSs !!! 😭😭 when I first listened to the album, I knew that song would be stellar live.

I watched an amazing performance live in St. John’s NL. The music this group puts out is so pure. The world needs more musical passion, talent and excellence that this group puts out. Please expose this to everyone you know

Growing up i didn't think being in Canada would lead to amazing live music but these last few years have been stellar with Half Moon Run at the absolute peak every time I see them.

I can certainly appreciate their music, but watching them live is another thing. The energy, the quality, the intimacy, I just feel they are good people and I can feel them just like being there playing for a few people and not for the masses. I feel kind of special since I saw them live.

Finally! Thanks for finally posting the whole show!! Wonderful sound. Amazing band.

These guys...I just can't get enough of their talent. I realized how talented they were when I first saw them live in Calgary. It hit me like a ferociously wonderful wild wind. I'll never forget how I felt that night.

@@cbcmusic I saw them probably around 2014 in the basement of the Palomino. There were only about 50 people there but it was an AMAZING performance.

This band is amazing. Their live songs actually sound better and cleaner than the studio versions. I'm glad I'll see em in Italy next month.

A joy to the ears, so rich in talent. Very exciting to hear the band!

I was totally blown away by their stripped down show a couple of years ago in Ottawa in an intimate venue. I am old too 😉 and it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen

What a great performance, they remind me a little of one my favorite dark horse bands ever: Split Enz. The voices, the tension points, the melodies, and the quirkyness. Love it!

Who'd be opening for whom?

I hope new music keeps going in this direction. A conviction to learning an instrument or many, learning to sing harmonies, and using the latest tech where applicable.

Been listening to this band for a while, but had never seen a live performance before. jfc these guys are insanely talented. Reminds me of the way Rush could get so much more depth of sound than their numbers would suggest.
