I am pleased to say I have the album called trumpton riots by half man half biscuit and it gets plenty of playing on my turntable.

they've done so many classics. This and the one about the night time petrol station are my favourites. Plus "Len Ganly".

I sing it a few times a year in the presence of any new work mates. This leads them to realize what a super cool guy I am, even if I may be going a bit grey :)

Fucking love this track so much, utter madness

I am now 51 and am still suffering from parental distaste. Bastards! On the plus side, I met a girl from Leeds while I was working in Portugal. She had a snake tattoo on one leg. It was one night, but I fell in love. We talked about this band and many others of the era until about 4 in the morning on her balcony. I was to meet her the next night but ended up stuck working at the airport at Faro. Fucking work! Internet. Should you chose it. Find my Algarve lover. She listened to The Brilliant Corners, The Smiths, Pixies, ETC. She is from Leeds, has a sister (who was present on the night) and we met in “on the rocks” . The Olympics were on TV and she told me her and her sister were synchronised swimmers! Thanks internet
