If you stop to think about it, Headcrab is one of the zombies that suffers the most in the gaming world, as normally a zombie moves by instinct, either out of the need to feed like a zombie from Dying Light or driven by a fungus like the zombies from The Last of us, but the zombie from half life, aka Headcrab. it is simply moved by the headcrab and from what we can see by the host's screams of agony, it is conscious and is feeling everything, from the headcrab with its teeth stuck in the host's head to the shots we fire at them, they are feeling everything and not they can do nothing but scream in pure agony, pain and despair. and I think that possibly the host knows what is happening around him, he is forced to attack anyone around him and he can do nothing to stop it, just watch him kill people and live this life of pain and suffering until someone finish it...

you wanna know what gets me? these zombies know what's happening, they can feel everything they used to be normal people until the combine sent headcrabs to their homes they still feel pain, they still know what they're doing, but they don't want to you're doing them a favor when you kill them. the song "triage at dawn" isn't a sad song about someone that got killed by the combine. it's a song about gordon's mind after having to witness all the tragedy of ravenholm and what the combine did to it, and the feeling of finally escaping the town after all he had to go through. the real reason gordon's always silent isn't because he's the cool silent type, it's because the moment he tries speaking, nothing will come out. nothing but pain and suffering because of all he's had to go through. his colleagues, his friends all got killed in the black mesa incident, and then he had to witness the reign of the combine after the seven hour war. truly the most heartbroken human in game history.

Make sure to seek help from whoever you can, because people will help you. You can see that there are others in your replies supporting you. If you think that you do not deserve help, that is NOT true. NOBODY should have to feel the pain you're feeling, especially if you are young too. There are also hotlines that will help you too. Life may seem bad at the moment, but with help you can live an amazing life. I know a person who had depression and was in a really bad place of mind, but with help from others, they are now living a very happy life. There is hope for you too, and I encourage you to get as much help as you can. 🫂

My friend please for your own sake do not do that. There is always a better solution that will make you live a great life being content and happy. Imma be honest there's nothing I can do to actually stop you I can't jump through the screen the best I can do is give you advice based on some personal experience if you care to read. Years ago something terrible happened to me that I would rather not share and for 2 years I woke up everyday wishing I had just died in my sleep and yes, I did attempt suicide twice and both times survival instinct kicked in which made me stop, one day I realised that the only way I could solve this constant pain was to make sure that the terrible event that caused it in the first place would never happen again and that I needed to start taking care of myself aswell. My addictions slowly faded as I stopped and I swear everything, all the pain that I went through was nothing compared to the recovery, it was the most powerful and energising feeling ever I don't even think there is any drug that comes close to it and I realised that whatever pain one goes through mentally, the recovery is the best feeling one will ever have and from there you can quite literally do anything you set your mind to. The choice is yours at the end of the day but i hope that you get to enjoy the greatest feeling ever of recovery and achieve whatever you desire in life. Wish you the best my friend.
