The day I found the "Half Kilo nugget", I left camp in the morning and realised it was my late fathers birthday (his name was Ray). I looked up to the sky and said, 'Happy birthday dad" Then I said, Mum and dad, can you show me where the Gold is? An hour later I found the nugget which I named 'The Ray of Sunshine" after dad.

G'day 101, awesome to see some amazing content, as always. Love the parcel of such amazing variety of special rocks etc., was a real surprise. I hope you are well and life is good. I agree, I spent 5 months last year travelling WA, and oh my god I couldn't believe how big the state is and I live next door in SA. I didn't even get to go through the middle goldfield s and we did 17,000kms. I can't even imagine how much ground there is to be covered. Can't wait for part 2. Cheers Dan

I wonder could you use one of those giant metal detecting coil setups used to detect large meteorites several feet down? The Meteorite Men program had one they pulled behind an ATV or a truck I believe.
