she truly is something else. She's already my favorite female voice ever, and is probably going to be my fav singer. And that's not even referring to her sex appeal....unbelievable.

Man...she is amazing. Absolutely amazing.

I'm sure she's one of the most underrated and amazing singers in the world! What a voice....

This girl is talent overloaded! Why she isn’t front and center in the music industry is a puzzle to me. She is by far one of the best I have ever heard. Kelly Clarkson is my all time favorite singer - but this little lady is right up there with the best!

Man, I love this rocked out version astronomically far more than I like the retro-version she released on her album. I bet if she would have released a rocked out version as opposed to the retro-version of this song she released that the song would get a lot more mileage for her.

I don't know whether or not this would be generally more popular, but man, I love this version too, stripped - down, Bluesy Rock version. The recording quality is good, and shows the distinctive character of her voice so well, as these live sessions so often do. They seem often more individual than the studio recordings with their busier backing accompaniments which seem less distinctive. I'm not a great lover of Pop music so maybe I'm a bitty prejudiced about that.

@@gynack If she would have rocked out this song as opposed to making it retro, in my opinion, it would have been good enough to be released. But as a retro-version, it turns more people off than it turns people on in my opinion. Plus, what market do you release it to? It's not that I mind retro, but the retro-version she released on this song sounds far too dated for me. Not to mention that I like like a fusion, i.e., a mixture of the old with the new like Bruno Mars is famous for doing. However, Haley never does that. As she always makes it full on retro because as she says she is an old soul.

@@theblackdog2399 I enjoyed the album video version a lot, but this tops it. I'm pretty vintage myself now, and I havena listened to much Pop at all for many years so I'm really not sure what constitutes vintage if it's newer than Swing Jazz or Fats Domino. (I know - I'm bloody hopeless!) However, I do recognise the quality of this. 👍

@@gynack Well, unfortunately, it doesn't really matter because as long as she continues to release music independently, as opposed through a big major record label, her music will not be exposed to a wide enough audience to make a difference in any event. I hope sooner rather than later she wakes up and signs with one of those big majors. Because she is missing out being on award shows, morning shows, late night talk shows, Saturday Night Live, music competition shows, movies, etc., etc., etc., and also depriving us, her fans, of the enjoyment of watching her on all of those platforms as well. @@theblackdog2399 I'm sure you're right about that. We don't have so much of a problem like that with our BBC. Being funded by licence fees, it's not under the same commercial pressure, and there are DJ's on some shows who will play indie artists as well as big label artists. From what she has said in interviews, she wants to keep pretty tight control over what she does. She's concerned about signing away her artistic independence, and being forced onto a commercial treadmill doing things she doesna want to. However, it would be great for her to become a household name. Although that kind of fame brings its own problems as well, she seems to have all her back teeth, and is mature enough to cope with it, I would think.
