I just painted my bathroom hale navy I’m in love!!!!

Perfect timing for this video. I was just deciding on using Hale Navy as an accent wall behind the tv in a den and painting a lighter color on the remaining walls. I love your videos. I struggle with paint colors and you explain them so well. Thank you

Love Hale Navy! I've used it many times. I used it as an accent wall paired with Decorator's White on the other walls and trim.

This is right up my alley James...You know these are my colors. I have splashes of Hale Navy in different parts of my home. Yep, my bathroom vanities. I LOVE IT. I never see any undertones and in one of my bathrooms I get no natural light. Great video James. This was MY video hands down until the next. I need Paper White in my life now.

Hey thanks for all your videos. Theyre great. I took forever to pick my house paint colors. I eventually went with chantilly lace, stonington grey, grey timberwolf(which is light blue, really) & herb bouquet. I love them all. And now I'm selecting a navy 🤔

I also painted my husband’s office in Hale Navy, approximately 7 years ago and we still love the look with his decor.

Great timing! I’m building out multiple rooms with the following: hale navy, morris room gray, and anchor gray. Now I have to go and get a sample to see if I should replace anchor gray with cheating heart 😢 But I just found a new addiction… salamander! Wow it’s stunning.

I painted my first floor wall, trim, and doors SW Sea Serpent. Im into moody. The exterior siding, trim, gutter and downspouts is SW Cyberspace

I love Salamader . I almost painted my south facing porch that colour. I chickened out though and used wrought iron.

I really enjoyed how you did this video on an older color. I hope that means I can ask about SW Cavern Clay as I’ve put off asking since it’s an older color. I bought a bunch of it for my old house that had a southwest motif but a diesel truck plowed through it so never used it. I’ve since bought a cabin that I’m redoing & would like to maybe use part of the paint in some way. Any ideas & other colors to use in conjunction would be most appreciated.

i wanted to paint my living room Hale Navy , but I see it everywhere. I chose Twilight Blue 2067-30 instead, much more vibrant , I love it.

Hi James, Why don’t paint companies put the LRV on the back of the paint chips we pick up at the store? So aggravating to spend time picking paint chips at the store and then have to look LRV up online. Especially, because of watching a certain paint expert, I know what LRV range I’m looking for. 🙂

I recently painted my studio/office Exotic Purple and love it. I heard so much about Hale Navy I considered using it next, but found it a bit of a disappointment, kind of dull (boring) actually. I ended up going with In The Midnight Hour instead. I’m still painting so I will check out Salamander next! Thanks, James!

We have an open plan 900 sq ft coop apartment. I used Hale Navy in the entry to delineate the entry from the open area of the apartment. I also used Hale Navy as an accent wall in the living room with the television's black rectangle on that wall. It does a good job of toning down the in your face television. The rest of the apartment is painted Silver Half Dollar which is a cool grey. I works, IMHO, as the major light source is from the south and it balances out the cool palette. I have to say I really like the Hale Navy, no idea that I was part of a 'trend' a year ago when I choose these colors. It also works as our art collection is by and large brilliantly colored works.

So thankful I found this. I love hale navy I’m thinking of mixing it with SW Stardew as a secondary. Do you think it would pair well? In my kitchen with Ultra white cabinets?

Awesome video! We are using Hale Navy in a library for the walls, and have a custom book case being made and would like to use a wood stain. What color stain would you recommend? We have Jacboean Floors on Red Oak wood.

James. What are you thoughts using hale navy for exterior on an historic home with white trim ? Too dark?

I'm looking for a similar color to this one for My bedroom.I also like in the midnight hour. Which one would be best for a bedroom?

I can see my husband and one adult daughter LOVING this palette. Me and the other daughter, not so much. It doesn't help when there is not a whole lot of natural light coming into the condo, though. The Hale Navy and Salamander combination sounds intriguing, if there was the correct light for it :)

How do you think this compares to Outer Space by s-w? I can’t decide which to go with.

I want to love this, but it has too much gray.I read Anchors Away and Ink Well by Sherwin Williams, in a 50/50 mix, have more light/life. I seldom trust photos so am getting a sample mixed. I prefer Behr paints. Would it work to have them make a bend off SW?

I have been on a navy kick lately so yay. Gray doesn't always feel right, neither does black. Navy is classic. Neutral and still a color. I'd use it as a pop though and with some dusty pink.

I used it on my outside doors facing east. It looks a lot lighter than I expected. Nice though

hale navy is perfect with ben moore maritme blue.....and also maritime white

Is there a creamy white color that would go with Hale Navy? Can you even use a warm creamy white with it if it’s more of a cool color?? Thanks for the help!!

Wow! Love the moody colors of Hale Navy and Salamander. Hush does not fit into my color appreciation at all. Too yellow. I can see Hale Navy or Salamander in a bedroom, office or powder room.
