and thank goodness norman lear finally did right by not killing off lester unlike james, because situation comedies and family sitcoms were booming in the 80's.

@@angeljohnson6665 , I agree. Love 227, Hal Willliams, Marla Gibbs and Mary and Lester. They were/are a great couple. My favorite.
