Beautiful video. Very interesting to watch, thank you so much for sharing especially having only just returned and being so busy. Hope to come back to this one day when I’m preparing for Hajj inshallah. Definitely agree with you about the UK Muslim thing. I felt that when going on Umrah -that I’ll “have to change” because people will judge me if I don’t... regret thinking that way now.

Hajj is only accepted when it is reflected in your behaviour afterwards and hence staying away from all haram may allah guide us all inshallah

Do you have to stay in a tent with lots of other people? Is there a way to do hajj and stay somewhere in private just husband and wife?

Sis In the hotels before you travel to mina to perform your hajj rituals you can pay extra to Stay with your husband in a couples room , but at mina in the tents men and women are segregated , you can call him outside of your tent to meet him and you can wonder around out if the tent with him but in the tent it will only be women , this is the actual rituals of your hajj staying in the tents at mina and staying a day at arafah and then sleeping under the stars at muzdalifah ( you can stay with your husband at muzdalifa but you will have lots of other people around you ) then back to tents . The women are friendly whom you have to share the tent with and they will be from your group whom you travelled to Saudi Arabia with . Hope that helps x

I'm so happy you shared this with us. At the end you're talking about the empty feeling and about how you vieuw thing differently in your life after the hadj and I think this is a good reflection you made. It's not easy to be this honest with yourself. I hope you can do something with us. There are many people teaching us how we have to glam up our faces... but almost no people who are telling us to glam up our hearts. Maybe you can collaborate with people who are working with good causes, or start a Quraan memorisation journey and film everything, glam up some orphangirls who a lot of the time have no self esteem...you really can be a coache for them and have a little girltalk... please think about something more ambitious and spread all the good. I wish you all the best.

We went this year too Alhamdulillah. Your mina camp was luxurious compared to ours lol. But some of my favourite moments were from those days. We walked pretty much everywhere. We did 46k steps on the day of eid. Was the wait for the trains long?
