Some of it does get lost in translation, but it's still funny af. Like how Aoki is butt naked in front of her kneeling gf. His line actually translates to "I got all wet so she was helping me take care of it" (not "helping me change"), and the guys took the lewd interpretation and beat the shit out of him lol.

Takamura fools around with a lot of women. i remember this ep where i think ippo picked up a lot of calls from angry women. if you look at aoki and kimuras backstory you will understand why he does it. The reason they ended up starting boxing was to beat him up and were forced to train by the Kamogawa. Takamura wants them to be annoyed by him to keep pushing themselves
