@@johnpatterson5227 its sad how it had to end this way. He did more or less everything in his life he literally travelled all round the world with his bestie doing what he loved which was cooking food and riding his bike. I feel sorry for Si i really do, i hope he makes a tv appearance again

The hairy bikers had such good chemistry that's why they were so popular. You good tell they were genuine mates who bounced off eachother so effortlessly.

I taught Dave to fly at Perth airport and have some fond memories of his antics in his Quasar 2 ....a real gent, very funny and full of surprises during his training.Was great to share this part of his life.

I think he new he wasn’t going to get better and he wanted one last adventure with his best mate. It must of been heartbreaking for Si to know this was the last show they would do.

Sat down with Dave at a posh evening do dinner type thing…what a lovely lovely guy…genuine and funny!!! Sad for his family but how must Si be….😢

They were both very brave! Si knew the fate of his bestie and still carried on! Dave continued at his best right till the end! The memories will live on and thank gawd for catch up tv etc so we can still enjoy them both together still. 🙏
