One of the few good things that came out of the Covid shutdown was so many women transitioning to their natural gray and rocking it. The principal at our elementary school had like 6 inches of regrowth and instead of finally getting it colored again, she got it cut in a really fun short do with it longer on top and I think she looks fabulous. I love women rocking their gray hair. I know some people might think it is bad for hairstylist's pocketbooks, and maybe somewhat, but the women I know are still going to the salon for highlights or lowlights or toner to make the gray a more flattering look, and most are getting more modern haricuts that require more upkeep, so I hope it balances out for the stylists. I like it because I love more women showing that you can still be gorgeous with gray hair AND I think that even when it has toner or highlights it is still much more forgiving when it grows in whereas gray roots on their "natural" color just looks bad FAST.

The compliments I've gotten since I stopped coloring my hair, not to mention the savings of not having to have it touched up frequently, are all I need to reaffirm my decision to let my grey glow! 😊

Me also - after 20 years of coloring (started at the age of 25!) I decided to get a pixie cut and let grow my wonderful grey. Best decision ever!!!

Ive grown my hair out to a great shade of silver. As a hairdresser for over 30 years I can relax and enjoy. Thank you for your vids. I knew people did a lot of hair at home and we get to fix it in the shop. It's so satisfying to see a beautiful result. I haven't laughed out loud like this in a long time. 😂

I’m getting more and more white hairs mixed into my reddish dark brown hair and I don’t care. I love my greys and would never try to hide them under hair colouring. I only wish they would curl the same way as the rest of my hair instead of sticking out.

Small sections is one thing. However, when a 10 year old goes into a salon and is quoted one price for a black stripe on his already blonde hair, and the colorist charges (Tony&Guy) for each foil, so that it came out $200 more than he was quoted (one stripe and she used 20 foils ... and was paying himself), mom has to step in and call BS. After? I did his color. I'm not a stylist, but I wanted to be at one time so I studied. I still learn. T&G thought I was stupid.

I am an old-school gal and I grew up as a teenager in the 70s. We loved boys with long hair. I still think nice long hair on a man is extremely sexy. Although I think that bald man with sexy ginger beards are a real turn-on to. ;-) anyway with that sad watching those three guys acting like morons cutting off all of that nice long hair so that they look like Goobers tells me kids are really desperate to get on Tik-Tok. When I was a teenager boys would get punished for bad behaviour by having to get their hair cut off.
