You can achieve a similar result as hers by using a different technique, I have tick curly hair and also a ton of hair hahaha and what you can do is just curl vertically in small sections in both directions, and once you're done just brush them with your fingers a little bit like if you were trying to mess them up, also you can use a little bit of hair oil if it's freeze and it will give you that natural wavy messy hair look.

I’ve learned alot about my hair during lockdown. For instance: I’m 40, so back in my days I used to use A LOT of gel and hairspray to get defined curls and it was HARD! So in my adult years I stopped this process and didn’t use hairspray or gel. Since lived in, wavy/curly effortless curls came back “in” I invested in higher end products to try and avoid that wet crunchy look (lol, you know the one). I have embraced my natural wavy/curly hair and stopped being so afraid of hairspray and curl enhancing products.

I’m a hairstylist and I have naturally curly hair. I’ll say, his advice on curly hair from past videos is.. not the best. It really depends on the level of your curl pattern. If you’re in the 4’s, forget about it. He knows a little bit about the 2’s and 3’s but I’d definitely recommend going elsewhere for more expert advice on curly hair. Look up curly hair specialists. I like Curly Girl Method but everyone seems to do a slightly different version of it. What works for me at 3C might not look the same on you at 4B, ya know?

Every woman here with thick straight hair knows what sectioning is. We don’t know what not sectioning is lol. Also because of my hair I’ve *always* used hair spray because I have to or else all my curl will just…fall out. Most of my friends will say they don’t curl their hair because it never holds so I’ll ask if they use hair spray. I get the same answer every.single.time that infuriates me. Their answer is "well I don’t like hair spray or the feel of any product in my hair." Well then don’t complain when your hair doesn’t hold.

I understand that Brad is trying to sell his products I really do, but I also wish there was just a bit less promotion of them in his videos. Something about how he mentions his hairline in every video now, usually multiple times, just kinda makes me miss the videos that were purely for entertainment and educational purposes before he released a haircare line.

I feel the same, I fully understand he wants to promote his products and he should, but I think it's a bit too much sometimes and the way he does it kind of irks me, but I guess that's just part of his personality to promote it like that.

I kind of agree, but at the same time, as someone who has used his products, they work 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m a hairdresser and I LOVE everything that I’ve tried from his line. I don’t mind him promoting his products at all since 1)it’s educational on how to correctly use them as well as products that might be similar to them and 2)they do make a HUGE difference in the results.

I love your videos! I am older and have been watching your videos for ever. I am going gray and I am sick of dyeing my hair darker. I want to "age" or "naturalize/lighten" it all over. It costs a fortune and many trips at the salon to "go natural" and I'm too scared to do it myself. I tried the color remover, but it didn't work. I haven't found a video yet for how to "go natural" for an older person. Do I just bleach it? Are there steps? Things I should avoid? I don't know.. I wish people would include older folx in their hair care tips and routines.. 😭

You can bleach the darkened parts and try to tone it to grey. It will be a bit of upkeep, of course, but if you get it close or a little lighter than your natural colour then it'll look amazing.
