I actually went through this lmfao After a mental breakdown, I just *cut and bleached 2 times my hair* I went from black with some blue to a carrotish red and yellow, not even blonde, just disgusting shiny *YELLOW* with shades of *GREEN* and *WHITE* _I hated it indeed_ The next day I went to my usal hair saloon and walked in like "hey gurls I did a huge mistake." They literally screamed when I showed them my carrot, it was really fun but what matters is that I had a wholesome red _(thanks to my therapist, I mean, Hairdresser)_ who saved my life. I swear to God never ever will I walk in a hair stuff shop again, I even got my subscription cut off from their shop.

My friend had this beautiful, long, thick hair. She comes in the next day and her hair is just below her shoulders. She chopped her hair off at 2 am. It actually looked really good though. A week later she came in and she had bangs. She cut those at 2 am too. But they low key look so good on her and she still trims them herself every few months.

Mine just did not what she wanted with it. Showed me an idea and I told them I didn’t want it but she did it anyway. Luckily mum fixed it and I was too traumatised to go back for like 8 years. Then finally went back and the gave me a fringe that stopped at my eyebrow and didn’t go far enough to the side (was a side fringe done way to small). Fixed that myself. Now I’ve cut my hair enough to do it all myself.

I've been cutting and trimming my own hair since childhood, including giving myself bangs (and layers) every once in a while (always regret it though when I want to grow them out again lol such a pain). I was fortunate though (despite hating the situation at the time) because I grew up homeschooled and living in the middle of nowhere, so I had a LOT of time and a LOT of practice, and I only became good at it because of the many, many, many errors I made lol I'm lucky that I was not around people back then haha I love this guy's videos though and how he explains why things don't work so well when we commoners attempt things best left to the professionals 👍

*Brad I feel the need to tell you this, so here it goes....* You are an absolutely amazing human being, seriously, you never fail to brighten my days, your personality is so vibrant that I can't help but be put into such a good mood when watching your videos and there has been more times than I'd like to admit to, where you have saved me from making a terrible hair mistake, and I do mean Terrible, for that I say Thank You and Bless You... @@yk.hav3ndobs.4 my logic is that "if you cut your hair and you fuck it up when you need to go to the hair salon afterwards theyre going to need to fix it even more so its going to cost more and youre hair is probably going to be shorter then you wanted" 😂 i always say that to myself when im thinking of cutting my hair and thats why i never do it cuz my hairdresser does a good job for a cheap price but again thats not the story for evryone 😂

I trim my ends a lot, but I have really thick curly hair naturally so it doesn’t matter if it’s completely even or completely straight across because the curl camouflages it.

...just make sure you go to a professional! Red dyes have a shit ton of Ash and Ash tends to fuck up hair when it isn't done properly! I'm going to be getting a Raspberry Sundae look! Check it out! It's enough to satisfy the gods of breakdowns but doesn't look like you just tried to get back with an ex!
