I am a dude with my hair half down my back who works in IT at a Fortune 500 company. As long as it looks like you are taking care of it (you don't look like you live in a cave) most places don't care.

Honestly this is for women too. Charlize Theron, Meg Ryan, Keanu reeves and many others sported these hairstyles, personally even i had similar hair when i buzzed off most of mine. So did my sister and my father back in his day.

I've been trying to get this look for years. Over several hairdressers no one seems to get the idea of having long layers in a long style. Whenever I ask for layers they cut it short, making the last 12-18 months growth a waste of time. I ask for long, but they then say that you can't layer. So, I have no idea. Could I book a flight over? =)

Same situation here. Been growing out hair. Decided to have a fix after 10 months. The damn hairdresser took 3 months away plus a ridiculous little-girl-bunny-hair finish. Cost me 500 ntd. Went to another barbershop to have another fix with layered and thinning. Cost only 100 ntd but worth every penny.

Great hair and great cut. Franks a great model too- nice symmetrical features. I’ve been gifted with great hair so I’m looking forward to trying this. Need to grow it out first.

I've cut my own hair since I was a teen, with varying results, lol, but the layered look feels extra tricky to do. This is exactly the method I've been looking for a breakdown of! So thank you! Now if I can manage it on my own without noticing my arms are too short or I can't see what I'm doing, that's another story, but I'm definitely gonna give it a try! Because it's been well over a year since I last cut my hair down to a total shave, and I'm sure it needs a trim, even though I somehow can't see any split ends. It's uneven as fuck, so at least there's that to fix.

That’s actually a bad ass longer hair style on a dude, I might have to grow my hair out just achieve this type of look.

Im regrowing my hair but I've been cutting the back to avoid mullet shag hair. I have been cutting my hair since the last 7 years My quality was degrading lately and taking longer. Your technique is wonderful I watched carefully and applied and had a wonderful result plus never had a haircut which looks good from the first day! Let's see how it will look in the coming weeks! Man if I were to go for long hair this would be the style right here.. everything else looks a lil to feminine but this looks dope I can’t lie.

I feel you on the height issue. Been cutting and styling hair for along time and I use an old bottle crate ( dr. Pepper) flipped over to give me about 3 more inches of reach. Works great believe it or not. Just always remove it so your not tripping over it when not in use.
