Thank you for sharing your journey. Don't let this setback get you down. From what I noticed in the video, there are a few things that could help in the future: 1) NEVER detangle your hair when its dry. When you took out your braids and started to detangle your hair while it was dry, I could literally hear the hair breaking off. 2) Try and keep your hair moisturized when its in protective styles. 3) Try detangling and combing one section at a time and be gentle with your hair. 5) If you havent incorporated vitamins and herbs for hair growth and healthy hair you should definitely look into it. Best wishes on your hair journey.

Your shedding is normal for taking out braids. Our heads shed up to 100 stands a day.

Hello dear, I've watched some of you videos and I applaud tou for sharing. I also in the comments how you have a learning spirit.A few tricks to consider, personally ill suggest you stop relaxing your hair because you have thin strands which are more fragile and it breaks too. I have thin strands but very thick and i stopped relaxing my hair. Even though i have long hair. Secondly most hair stylist do not handle our hair right when we go on for protective styles so insist of them not braiding you hair tight and no trims. Oil you hair a lot of the time even in braids. And keep going it will get better.

I really appreciate your input🙏🏾 I needed this. Thank you for encouraging and advising me. I’m not relaxing my hair no more and I’ve resolved to no more tight braids especially with my edges. I’ll definitely take oiling my hair more seriously henceforth. Thank youuuu🙏🏾

Hi 👋 😊you have resilient hair that definitely can recover and thrive. These are a couple of tips that may help. 1. Getting the protein/moisture balance correct when washing your hair. Seeing as you are losing hair when you comb, you may require a protein treatment when washing your hair. But it’s important to assess your hair at every wash day as you may need a moisturising treatment the next wash day or both protein and moisture treatments. But currently you need to strengthen your hair strands so I believe protein treatment is what you need. Be careful too much protein your hair becomes stiff and brittle, too much moisture then your hair can become mushy and limp. 2. Be careful with products, if you use a product that’s too strong, or use it too often or not enough then you could end up damaging your hair further. With our hair it’s trial and error so you have to watch how your hair responds to products. 3. When taking hair out of a protective hairstyle. Make sure you have PLENTY of slip so you don’t break your hair when detangling. So using a thick oil like olive oil or leave in conditioner BEFORE you take out your hair will mean your hair will be lubricated when your taking your hair out of a protective hairstyle and won’t break when you comb it. 4. Be gentle with your hair, if you’re not in a good mood don’t do your hair because you may take it out on your hair. 5. Deep conditioning every wash day with something moisturising even if you’re doing a protein treatment will help keep your hair moisturised. Also a hot oil treatment every wash day also, with a couple of oils, including coconut and olive oil focusing on the scalp and ends of hair and deep conditioner on the hair will help. It may lengthen the wash day process but your hair will thank you for it. 6. Keep your hair wrapped in a silk scarf or silk pillow case or bonnet at night will make sure you don’t lose moisture. Also be careful about keeping your hair down frequently as you don’t want it to rub against fabric constantly 7. No tight buns or hairstyles. Try to minimise the stress your hair goes through. Less manipulation better retention. 8. Keep your hair moisturised always. When it’s in a protective hairstyle you can spray it with a conditioning oil Sheen spray to make sure it stays relatively ‘moisturised’. Don’t spray water on your relaxed hair. 9. Healthy diet is great for hair. But if you can’t get nutrients in diet there are multivitamins that can help. Drink lots of water!! If you can get a blood test to see if you’re deficient in nutrients that can help greatly! 10. Don’t stress. Stress can thin and break the hair God bless 😊 @Plangdes P.s if you want to transition your relaxed Hair or keep it soft at the roots. You need to deep condition it every 2 weeks with moisturising treatments and, use protein when you feel you need it. Not as often as every two weeks though

If you read my comment right now, please don’t ever try to relax your hair! 2 days ago I relaxed my hair based on the instruction, I bought the product from a good store in Germany, I even washed it before the specified minutes. But i lost almost my half hair badly, the hair around my front head is even fall down totally. Am really afraid to go outside my home. I had a good length and tick hair I was just wanted to make it easy for everyday style 😢 it leaves me with a depression and am scared even to meet people.

It's not about not ever relaxing your hair. It's about doing it properly. Let a professional do your hair. You probably left the relaxer on too long or got a super one, thus the hair shedding. It'll grow back.

I would strongly suggest you don't relax again. I saw your initial video and just from the first few seconds I could tell that you have very fine hair strands. A relaxer will just eat through it. This is me speaking from experience. People with fine hair need to be gentle on their hair. On the positive side if you really feel like straightening, heat training your hair would probably work, just don't use high heat like 450f.

Not me reading this after I just relaxed it again🫢 but the good-news is that it didn’t turn out as horrible as the first time🤗 in my defence the new growth was too thick to manipulate🥺 but you should check out the latest video and probably give me my flowers for not have a horror story again🤗 Also thank you so much for the tips on how to handle my hair with heat🙏🏾❤️

Hi Queen,Vo5 is not a good quality product. You would be better off using Amla honey aloe vera n a small amount of cloves. Vo5 is .99 cent not a quality product or ingredients. Are you returning back to being natural Soon?
