I am a 66 year old woman, retired now but worked all my life and was a bit of a fashion, shoe, bag and hair snob! I learned more watching this video about face shape and hair hacks than I ever did anywhere else! Wonderfully done, helpful and professionally presented. Thankyou!
Wow! I'm 65 and I've never understood how women are supposed to know what hairstyle suits them, and what really, really doesn't. Thank you so much for the whole of this video, and particularly being willing to show us what a huge difference the wrong parting or style can make on your own face. I had no idea! I will be doing this today to see what I need to do. I am beyond grateful to you.
I've been hairdressing 33yrs and this explanation was easy and accurate. Using the mirror to draw your face outline on the actual mirror is a great idea!

I was thinking exactly the same thing! She doesn't shame you for choosing what she perceives as the not-so-flattering look. Just supports trying the alternative.
Wow, I had no idea you could achieve that look with just a few simple tricks! Definitely going to try this on my own hair. I always struggle with making my hair look presentable on bad hair days, but your tips have really helped me to transform my hair in just a few minutes.
I think your show is for all women! Not just women in their 50's. I'm 36 I watch all your content. You are the best! You explain things simple and easy to understand. Thanks so much!

yes! i’ve done this in the big bathroom mirror before. fun excercise. i just want to mention that even though we may have known the shape of our younger face it’s worth checking again in our fifties. I think a lot of this is personal preference and not everyone needs to aim for an oval shape. Most styles are flattering to an oval, but it’s totally fine to play up any shape face you have! People just get used to seeing their face a certain way with hairstyles they have had had for many years. But lots of styles are suitable for your face shape, ladies! Play and have fun!

I just turned 50 last year and was diagnosed with leukemia shortly after my birthday in March. I’ve been struggling a lot to find the energy to still “look good” even though I’m not so good and your videos have given me sooooo many great ideas of simple things I can do to still feel pretty in spite of my health issues. Thank you so much for that!!! My hair is almost as long as yours but I don’t have as many layers. I haven’t had it cut since my diagnosis but I’m going to now that you’ve helped me understand how I need to have it cut. I won’t part it in the center though!!! 😂

This tutorial is mind blowing. So simple, but I never heard these tips anywhere else. I feel so equipped, thank you!!!
Oh my goodness! This has explained soo much!, I could never, ever figure out why certain hairstyles just didn’t work for me. I have a very similar face shape to you , with the same eye colour and skin tone too, yet I’d NEVER considered the symmetry ( or the lack of it!) of my face. The whole explanation of where to have the volume and the placement of a parting is simply a revelation! I’m 52 , but neither of these tricks had ever occurred to me . This has made an enormous difference to my look and given me confidence too. Thank you soo much xx

I always knew face shape was important to hairstyle but I never knew how they were related. Thank you so much for this excellent explanation!!!
I greatly appreciate it. As I get older, my face asymmetry has gotten worse, and I've been splitting my hair the wrong way. What an improvement the tweak has made! Love it thanks
I'm barely in my 20s and found this excellent and detailed. Thanks a lot!
I never knew how to do the complete face shape, only the outline! This is so helpful because I also have an asymmetrical face, with one eye higher than the other. I can’t wait to try this and see how it comes out. Thank you!!

I have a heart shaped face too! In the past year or so I added bangs to cover up my forehead wrinkles, which worked but according to your video I was sweeping them over to the wrong side of my face. So I’ve been trying to get used to sweeping them to the other side since watching your video plus not just pulling my hair back into a ponytail but pulling it to the proper side also. I was in the grocery store yesterday, I live in the United States, and had no makeup on but did my hair correctly and saw a friend I hadn’t seen in a while and she immediately said that my hair was so cute and she loved it! Made me feel good 👍 Thanks for the tips! I’m also enjoying the workout videos and have made a playlist for them. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

Fascinating! Thank you! I will use this!
I've always loved Jennifer Aniston's hair and now I can see that I was instinctively picking the one that was right for me. Layers around the face.
Lol! When you parted your hair down the middle & you said “stop it!” 😂
Great the way you put everything in perspective. I’m going to have a go at this thank you
So helpful! You are the first person who has really clearly explained this concept to me! Thanks!
To be honest when you parted your hair on different sides, I couldn't see any significant difference. No matter how you style your hair, you look gorgeous anyway
I'm 31. I love your channel. I have a heart shaped face just like you and one side is longer than the other. I've always wondered why I hate my hair in a regular ponytail. It looks so odd on me, but I always prefer a low side ponytail on the left side. Now I know why it looks better! Thank you!!!

Love this - I have veeeery similar asymmetry in my face (except quite a bit worse), and it took me ages to figure out that this was the only hair part that doesn't accentuate the fuller, lower, droopy side.

That is so cool about getting your face shape on the mirror. Your video's are so helpful! I like bangs/fringe so showing how to incorporate that with the various face shapes would be great. I look better with soft bangs, layered or swung to one side vs a middle part with my roundish square/squoval face that is fuller on the right side.In fact the entire right side of my body is slightly larger than the left.
So funny and interesting to play with the face and hair. BTW, I think you look like Celine Dion with the part in the middle. Such different! Thanks form the vid.
