There are some people around there posting several years of hair growth but after a point it doesn't seems to achieve much difference in length, so no reason to feel upset about others "grasses" but you really motivated me, I went from a shaved head to almost 6 months currently, I really owe you thanks for the inspiration, I'll come back later to tell about my adventure!
Very glad you showed the Bob cutting! Some people aren't aware that growing hair out can take longer than expected. Because to have one long length, you'll hafto cut the second layer out. Very helpful ❤️

This makes me realize how slowly my hair grows. Both the rate of growth and my hair texture have changed since I started treatment for my autoimmune condition. I'm on week 54. I've had intermittent trims to keep my hair from veering into "mullet" territory. But I'd say I'm at about a short bob.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Mine was very long too and fell out in huge clumps because of illness. I was heartbroken to chop it off, but I've learned to have some fun with the shorter styles. I had a bob and I've done a pixie cut for the first time. I thought if there's any time to try it out, now's the time while I don't have a lot of length to lose. I think I still prefer my longer hair, but until I get there again, I'm going to have fun experimenting with the shorter styles and get it all out of my system. That's been my silver lining. I hope your treatments go well and you'll get better. Much love and well wishes to you ❤❤❤
I am starting chemo, and just beginning to see hair loss. This was a very comforting video to come across, showing that it will grow back and giving some styling ideas at different lengths. I don’t think I will pull it off as well as she did (I am older and don’t have her nice profile) but it gives me hope that I can get through this. Thank you.

Same. I used to have chin-length hair at its shortest. It’s taken me over five years to grow it to just over shoulder length/armpit length. Most people could grow their hair to their mid or even lower back in that time, but mine grows 3-4 inches a year which is half the average :/ on the plus side it’s really thick. I tend to say it prefers to grow outwards rather than downwards lol
you pull off every style!! and this is super helpful bc i’m writing a book and my character shaves her head and i need to track her hair growth so tysm
That is amazing! I would not be able to keep that consistency! And you really do make every style pop!🤩
I didn't mean to pause at 1:11, but at that moment, you could see definitely see a lot closer how far her journey has come! Nice video♥️
Week 1 itself was perfect. This is the perfect way of how peoples should be thinking and loving theirselves. Majority of peoples hate their own looks. But in others perspective you're so beautiful on ur own way.❤
Thank you for keeping the same pose and editing skills throughout the video, it is very appreciated
I love how it showed that you went throught the stage where the back was so long compared to the top of the hair. the correction feels like a big chop
This is nice to see for some reason, I’m shaving my head tomorrow because I had so much hair loss after Covid, it sucks because I’m still in high school but I’m trying to get through it and this just reminds me that it’s okay, it’ll grow back.

I love the haircut at the universally understood "my bangs are long enough now that I can get it all cut to the same length and have a bob" point hahaha... I've shaved my head several times in my life. I'm currently at a similar length to like week 44 (happy that's also the cute cat pic week) with awkward short layers in front and long layers in back that aren't intentional enough to be cute... every day I fuss around with a ruler in the mirror trying to imagine how long it might be in time for my brother's wedding in 5 months so this gave me hope lol

I totally didn’t get why she cut her hair until I read your comment! Duh! That makes so much sense. I just grew my hair out after my last shave July 2019 and now my hair is definitely long enough to cut at an even length. It won’t be a cute little bob, but that’s ok! And I hope you look great for your brother’s wedding!

@@galaxylucia1898 haha yess it's an important crossroads in the growout journey, whether to finally chop to an even length or to hang in there and keep growing out the mullet... the mullet/shag/wolfcut look is very in now so I think it's easier now if one is strategic (mine feels super awkward still because it just doesn't fall right to look like I have a cool intentional shag so eek) also thank you !!!

Love how the cat just suddenly appears then fades right away
I truly respect women who maintain their hair anywhere past 'week 30' from the video. As a guy, I grew my hair out during a phase in my teens, until it was about shoulder length. The sense of sheer freedom and cleanliness that I felt after cutting it all off one day, was astounding. Having all that stuff hanging down over your forehead, and beside your face, all the time... I couldn't imagine doing that for years together, and that's forgetting about all the maintenance required to keep it in good shape.
It's amazing how much of a difference hair makes. You look like an entirely different person!
I'm envious. I gain and lose the same 20 lbs in like, a month and a half, but you have stayed relatively consistent throughout the two years. You looked great with every cut/style.

Thank you. It’s been literally a year now since I shaved my head when my country was in lockdown. It’s nice to see what stages my hair will be going through in the next year, roughly like your hair did already:)
Also started with a buzz cut 1,5 years ago. It's hard to bring yourself to get a shape up after growing it out for so long, you just don't want to lose any length
I had a chemo in 2020 and it took me until this month precisely to appreciate my hair again, the length is back the way it was. 2 years and a half seems to be nothing, but it can affect a lot the self confidence. Anyway, I'm happy
Shaved my head 11 months ago. I had NO idea it would take SO long to grow back. I look horrible but I love the laughter it brings for me and my husband. No more hair dye, no blow dryer, only organic shampoo and healthy oils. It's like new, perfect, soft, SHINY hair. No more nasty hair that I have to blow dry or flat iron to get it to look good. Going to keep this hair healthy. So glad I did it!!! Wouldn't do it again.
Her side profile is perfection.
Love it. Watched it again at 0.25 which gave it a sci fi / mystery feeling through the sound.
This actually helps me realize that it takes time if I want long hair 😅 For some reason I get discouraged that my hair barely grows past my shoulders, but I think it's because I'm too impatient

Wow, unbelievable, I started growing MY hair 14 month ago and they just reached shoulder length. But I started with nearly 5cm of lenght. Anyways, you look good with every style you had during the past 24 months....

14 months and it is shoulder length? Either you have super fast growing straight hair or not telling the truth.

@@williamhowerton744 I do not think that this is much. Hair growth is about 1 to 1,5cm each month. So 14x1,5cm is already 21cm. Starting out with 5cm I reach 26cm what is about shoulder length.
The fact that each hair style suits you like hell! MY GODDDDD you are so so beautiful ❤️❤️

Ikr she's gorgeous
I’ve watched this video multiple times. It’s like motivation and hope for me 😂 I shaved my head in May 2021. Then a year later went to get a trim which turned to a really really bad haircut she took off almost everything I grew and it looked so bad. Almost like restarting all over again… it’s definitely getting longer but it will probably be at least another year from my last haircut until it starts to look normal. It still is awkward and my layers don’t seem to want to grow as fast.
I really loved the video. It's so sensitive and well edited.
I remember watching your 1 year time lapse almost a year ago - glad to see youtube recommended me year 2 too!!
Neato video! I’ve been growing my hair since March 2020 because I didn’t want to risk it during a pandemic and I wanted to see how my hair looks longer. I’m approaching shoulder-length!
the video background is good and the hairstyles are so beautiful!
I actually think that was pretty incredible I remember going for a similar process! now i love my hair
So well created!! Respect to the process it took and dedication behind this seamless piece 💞💞💞
These type of videos always interesting to me. It’s cool to see how things grow in couple of months or even years.
You were lucky to cut it in 2019 and then in 2020 there would be a pandemic, I liked your timelapse it's the best I've seen so far, your hair looks great
As someone who's currently growing out their hair this is very interesting to see!
Love the kitty cameo! Very cool to see this from a woman’s experience! Way too many guys doing hair videos out there. And you rocked the no hair / short hair styles!
😲 WOW .. This is a beautifully put together video! And the dedication to take a pic every single week for 2yrs is beyond it! I just cut my hair again to top shoulders... I did it 1.5yrs ago and it grew few inches to my butt. Before that my hair was past my butt.. My hair grows like a weed! Prob bc I don't wash it more than 1x a week bc of dryness, my hair doesn't get oily until 2wks when I tested how long I could go.

She literally went through every hairstyle of the female lead in every movie from the 80's and 90's
What a patient girl, waiting there for two years!
your face literally matches with any style
I just love the versatility of the hairstyles. I wish i could do all of them whenever i feel like it
Zedee, this time next year. Can't wait 💕💕⌚
Okay but side profile goalssss gorgeous 😍❤️
The one thing Ive always hated about growing my hair out is all the in between periods where no matter what you do to your hair you cannot make it look good lol. Anyone who's grown their hair out more than once knows exactly what I mean. Those are the times that I usually wear a hat of some sort.

Why do you think mental breakdowns cause people to shave their hair? Does it symbolize a new beginning? Is it letting go of all the baggage?

@@familytv9585 it can be anything really. For some it's what you said, for others it's self destructive behavior

@@athmaid yes, you have a point. I guess it’s a combination of all those things.
This is basically a two year flex, being able to pull off every (appropriate) hairstyle under the sun.

omg the amount of hairstyles in this video, im gonna take inspo from them lmaooo
