When i was a child i run next to my mother when she uses the hair dryer and sleep on her bed because i feel so relaxed for its sound. Now im 20 years old and there is a lot of stress around me .. its been 2 weeks scince i found your channel and you videos helped me to go in a deeeep sleep as a result it helped me reduce stress thank you 🥰

My personal favourite sound was from sitting in the back seat of family car on LONG Long drives towards a holiday place.. It might not work today as sound shielding is much better in cars now.. But.. The sound of air rushing past the seal of the door whilst I had my head stuffed down there trying to sleep.. Used to put me into a little kids meditative hallucinatory semi conscious TRIP.. Vivid closed eye visuals.. Swirling colourful patterns... Really excellent.. I USED to resent arriving at the hallowed destination.....

Man, this is the good sleeping stuff. But my ecologist heart holds mixed feelings about my love for this and my preoccupation for the environment, because electricity is used up and heat is generated unnecessarily... Does your power supply come from a renewable source, like wind power or solar energy? That is my only concern. Even if they're not, I'm at least glad that we all can listen to this single video recorded once instead of having someone shooting at us with a hair dryer 😂😂 Thank you for your work and the peace you bring. Your videos take me back to when i was a child and my mother used to dry her hair at bedtime and i heard it from my room. One of my peacefulest memories. Cheers from Spain and thank you again!

Hey Al, I love your work. I think I have watched all your videos now and I have a number of them that I keep coming back to. This video being one of them. I would love a video where you have 2 dryers at the same time. One in your left hand one in your right and you have them on simultaneously moving left to right up and down, round and round. I would also love to hear layered sounds. Like maybe rain in the background while you are using the hairdryer??? I don't know, I just feel like if anyone can do it, you can. Thanks for the content.

I cannot handle 2 hair dryers at the same time for 1 hour, so I think I'll do a 20-minutes long video, or some edited ones... @@Favourites8891 the problem is that I have to record the sound effects... is not so easy. I have recorded a lot of rainy sounds, but there were always some problem... I'll publish a rain and thunder video by the end of September... the least imperfect one. About the wind, there are a lot of problems because wind on mics creates rumbles and distortions (I am not an expert in outdoor recordings) even if you use a professional mic and a windscreen ... we will see...

Visual ASMR is an art, Suleyman Ak! ;) I think that my videos are so appreciated because I really love doing them, I have overcame my sleeping problems by means of visual ASMR and white noise videos, so I know what I am doing ... a lot of people perform hair dryer videos because they think they are a useful fad, they are trendy, but probably they do not watch them regularly ... they don't love what they are doing ... but I do love them, a enjoy performing them, that's the difference! ;)

Do you modify the hair dryer? By this I mean do you take the heating element out, I'm guessing the hair dryer would over heat if keeper on for to long. Or is it just down to editing and looping

Hi scott whitear! I am not able to handle a hair dryer for more than one hour my friend! This kind of videos are usually edited-looped. (but usually a hair dryer can work for hours without any problems) Have a nice day! 🙂

Are you a Hair Dresser? How do they stay awake at work?

Can I access this on YT music? I like this in the background whilst listening to certain audio stories... Not all but some.. Sci fi and such.. Rain is one of the best backdrops for cosy nighttime stories.

Oof this is weird... Don't judge me but I sometimes use a hairdryer next to me in bed cause I like the hot air, it's bad to fall asleep to it but I haven't had any accidents. Hearing this now makes my body twitch cause I don't feel any air

I had similar problems when I started listening to videos instead of using real hairdryers, but listening to videos is by far safer and cheaper than listening to real ones... you have to get used to it. Whenever i hear this sound, it reminds me of my past childhood. Strange memory but its at night time and i am lying in the floor with a warm blanket and sleeping. This sound gives me so much memories idk why 🥹
