Makes me feel like I’m back upstate; walking back up to Camp Loyaltown after coming from the Country Store 🤩 Love this video!
One Author , two Books, the Bible and Scenery . truly the whole earth is full of His Glory many thanks for your impeccable good taste
I lived there and had a salon there for many years. Haven’t been back in 6 years and miss that drive. I know it all too well. Thank you for the lovely ride through memory lane. 💝
My family and I went to a family friends condo for a few long weekends in Hunter in the mid 2000’s it’s so nice up there
I miss that place.
If your passing through Tannersville again, consider checking up and filming the old Cold Spring Hotel on Spruce street. It might be completely fallen down by now, maybe even demolished. It would be great to have the most recent visual update, even if a new building went up. Many fans of the place online !
beautiful foliage!! this drive is very relaxing. loved watching fall foliage a lot lately since we don’t get that here in tropical countries ;) i really enjoyed it :)
Very beautiful foliage downtown driving, great.
Tannersville looks more heavily populated than I would have thought.
If you check out Peter Santenello's Appalachia series, this doesn't look too different from the "hollows" he was filming, just, not as tumbledown yet, knock on wood it never gets that way.
I spent time as a kid (Mid 70's) in the Jewett - East Jewett area at some old piece of property (Abandoned Artist Colony?) that I swear was extremely haunted. I think the placed was managed by the Mead family. Does anyone know of that place or have any details of the history of that area? Thanks!
fond Loyaltown memories from 86 & 87 ...
nice video...
Skied Hunter in the 90's. Wonderful. Mountain, nightclubs. Was a shareholder in a skihouse in HainesFalls. Looks like the Mountain is being ruined by corporations. Places we used to party at are nowhere. Haines Falls, Tannersville, Hunter, all ghost towns.

Used to go in the late 80s. Slopes moved to the other side of the Street but is still going I believe.
