I found HAIM recently and I'm just blown away by their creativity. It's more than just music, it's nostalgia of old music flirting with the excitement of something new ❤

I was concerned when it started with sitting down, but luckily we switched to running a few shots later for full Haim experience

Watched Licorice Pizza for the first time today. Jesus, this was the best damn flick I’ve watched in a long time. I even stayed and watched the credits. Who the fuck watches the credits? These gals are iconic. All of them. My favorite video of theirs was “if I could change your mind”. Took me back. The sounds and the styles just brought me home. Then this LP flick, which totally brought everything about this group into perspective. And now this video we just watched. MAN! It’s perfect! They’re perfect!! I’m am so floored right now. It’s almost unreal that these gals exist in this time. They’re like ambassadors of all nostalgic romances. Their looks, their youth, their moves, their music, their originality….I can relate to all of it. Pure bliss.

HAIM giving us light in these dark times.

If not for the video (an interview) I watched on Licorice Pizza where I learned that Alana actually is part of a music group, I wouldn't have found out that an amazing band called Haim exists! I had been sad on everything for these days, but Haim treated and healed me when I heard this song , even I couldn’t catch the actual lyrics. The melody and Danielle’s voice are beautifully kind .

People gravitate to a mystery. Alana's personality is like the group''s representative or agent of the two extreme personalities. Notice Alana knocks it out of the park in interviews. Sometimes Alana rein in Este from time to time, which is funny. Alana teases Danielle's quiet demeanor. What a talented dynamic trio.

True, she is overshadowed by her sisters, especially Alana who's quite chatty (but such a good speaker) in interviews so much bc she seems so introverted, and the video does a great job representing the angst from being introverted, and feeling like you are in the shadows.

I don't know if this is a testimant of how great Danielle's voice is or if this is just a visually stunning piece of cinematography paired together with great vocal direction brought on by PTA.

Great song, amazing lyrics - can definitely relate. Danielle's voice and swagger is undeniable. But in many interviews, she's often overshadowed by her sisters, trying to say something but not given the space. But in the music and videos she's what makes the band.

As a middle child I feel SEEN, Danielle never got back the clothes she lost track of (or were "borrowed" by Este and Alana
