I’ve seen them twice. I fall in love with them all over again each time bc they’re just so amazing and fun to watch. I love their energy on stage.

I’ve always admired attractive young women in bras or bikini tops. I haven’t listened yet, as my wife is sitting nearby. So all I can do at the moment is watch and admire. 👍

Great gig but 14 off album 3. 3 off album 1 and 1 off album 2? Its been out 25 months everyone in that room has listened to it so why ditch a lot of their classics? I love haim before anyone has a go just thought the setlist was odd

But it was a tour to support the latest album. My tour t-shirt says ‘Women In Music Part III’ on it. A lot of older fans would be glad to hear new stuff, rather than the same old setlist every tour.

@@SonicmintUK thats not usually how a tour works for most bands. You play 7-10 latest album if you already have 2 albums imo. Plus if we wanna be silly your t-shirt should say women in music part III (expanded edition) as they played the bonus tracks also

They played more off their first album than they did their second. I was fine with all the songs they played from their third album but def would have loved 1-2 songs from their second album. I saw them for their last tour. A night I love to relive in my mind every day.

Their music doesn’t seem to know what direction to go in. Potentially interesting but odd group.

Heavy on the singing, not so much on the instrument-playing. And of course there's a man playing guitar in the background, no doubt doing the heavy lifting.

They’ve been around for 10 successful years on the music scene, and 20 years before that as sisters playing music together. Before that, they were just a twinkle in their daddy’s eye. When should they start fading away?

@@SonicmintUK A bar band can be around 10 years, too. It doesn't make them successful. If it wasn't for the virtue-signaling feminist cheerleaders, they wouldn't even have their low level of notoriety. Ask a person on the street if they can name a Haim song. You'll get a blank stare. Their songs are simple and forgettable.

I've heard this complaint about Haim before that the back up musicians are actually making the music. If you have been following Haim you would know that all three sisters play multiple instruments. Trained on the drums, Este, Danielle, and Alana are are skilled on various guitars, keyboard, percussion, etc.; but really most of us can only play one instrument at a time. Of course, the songs they write, like most music, require many different rhythms, harmonies and melodies. In the studio, they can laydown and then overlay different tracks by themselves, but in live performances, like all bands, they need back up musicians to fill in the sound. Other than maybe instruments like the bass saxophone that they use for mood changes, I'm pretty sure they are competent enough to produce all the sounds they create.
