This girl is as country as you can get. She is so overlooked on radio. The Highway on satellite plays her but never hear her on my regular channels. She's cute & refreshing & her music makes you smile & sing along. So talented.

Sometimes it takes country radio a while to add songs that The Highway spotlights. It's taken Morgan Wade the better part of a year with "Wilder Days," which is only now starting to gather momentum on mainstream country stations, same for Mitchell Tenpenny's "Truth About You." This song is so different from anything on country radio now, but I'm still hoping it catches on, maybe during the fall or winter when the demand for uptempo beach and beer songs is reduced.

I love hip hop, blues, country, basically everything, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten slandered for listening to hip hop. And rude shit too. First time I heard of her was when she was with MIDLAND, a true country group that should have some WINS at one of these award shows. She's everything some of these female country singers AIN'T!!! 🌹 rosita (and it's the ones who don't deserve to win country for touring with rock or new ventures with rock. Quick story behind it: Prairie High School in Iowa is right next to a farm where it smells very strongly of cow manure in the summer. I learned from the band director that the larger schools in the area called it that because it was a smaller schools that smelled like cow poop, but now it's one of the largest schools with a state of the art music wing. Proud to have graduated from Cow Pie High! 😆
