I recently got away from my extremely TOXIC family after years of being attacked and scapegoated by them. I was just on the phone with the one cousin I have who is very dear to me and emotionally asked why I am so attacked and targeted. She told me the same thing...because I am very sweet, patient, and calm and they know I will never fight back. I possess a very similar tone when speaking as Hailey. It is a shame.
