Yep. Potato is "pomme de terre," or "apple of the earth"--but maybe when they know which one they're talking about they just shorten it to "pomme"? A native speaker will have to let us know.

At 12:04 Hailee's oil temp is only at 251F rather than the proper 325F as was the chef's. No wonder her batch wasn't cooking as quickly as the chef's batch. First, they give her the wrong ruler then they give her the lowest temperature cooking oil. She was being sabotaged! 😂

yeah. She should have just re-phrased her instructions when hailee was confused. instead she just repeated the same thing over which doesn't help if you dont get it in the first place.

I was so surprised by how much mercy Carla took on her, since some past guests have gone so far the wrong direction, but maybe it's because none of them stopped to ask for help like Hailee did.

I watched with my kids and one of my sons and I are both visual learners. We knew why she was struggling! It’s why we love you tube do much. We can SEE how it’s done ❤️

This is one of my favourite now, I like that Hailee asks questions during the back to back and the fact that they revisit the napkin basket.
