You can see in 3:35, Ushijima raises his hand as a way to apologize (as Tsukki's injured while blocking his spike) and the latter nods, accepting the apology. In the manga this scene is shown in a full panel, Ushijima also has a monologue, "Sorry, I was too strong.". Edited: There was no monologue like that, I mistook it for another chapter in the manga 😳

i just checked the manga (its volume 21, i have the physical copy), but there's no ushijima's monologue saying "sorry, i was too strong". its just a small plain panel in the corner with no monologue. in the manga, they both nodded to each other after ushijima raised his hand a bit to apologise, just like in the anime. edit : ngl i was excited when u said there's ushijima's monologue in the manga saying that and immediately checked out the manga copy i have and was disappointed when i didnt find it lol. i think the one you're talking about probably is from later volumes, iykwim :)

The V.A for coach Ukai did change, as to why... the last one passed away.

Nishinoya double save against ushijima is nothing short of a miracle genius.

This is the point where I'd like to remind us the point where Teddy said that she didn't know if this match was going to be as epic as the one vs Seijoh. And she has been watching the last 3 episodes in a row and she will now obviously watch the last one as well. LMAO

when ushijima hit the top of the net the animation on him was showing how tired and heavy his legs are. Just like tanaka. you can see the animation lines going downward as he jumps.

did u know that coach ukais voice actor died after the last sentence in the last episode (Episode 8). thats why ukai sounds a little different

5:35 It's amazing how they show that nobody is a machine, even Ushiwaka (USHIjima WAKAtoshi) being a national level player gets tired and has a hard time with exhaustion. This couple frames we see him in darkness and a heavy weight on him, preventing him from jumping like he always does. That's why, not having the same spiking height as always, he hits into the net.

While the Aoba Johsai match of season 2 is amazing this match for me is even better. Ushiwaka and Shiratorizawa are monsters and in a regular best of 3 there's now way Karasuno would have beat them.

they definitely could, with Daichi's serve receives, with Noya's insane receives, with Kageyama's setting skills, with Tsukki's blocking development, with Hinata Asahi Tanaka whose stamina don't run out fast as attackers and their unpredictability. Volleyball isn't about a team with the best individuals anyway. Karasuno are monsters too (Tendo thinks so)
