in Thailand we also do this before filming drama or movie.It's kinda traditional thing.They believed that if you do this there wont be any problem during the films and it will makes that drama/movie famous

It is Korean tradition and Pig is a kind of sacrifice. Pig is not god of Korea. Try to understand Korean culture. Don't speak ill of Korean culture at least. Some people's attitude is so rude!

well for them it's not "creepy". i don't really know how you can say "asians got the worst religions" because that sounds bit, i dont know, racist towards them, and in what way this is like "worse" than being christian or being in any other religion? this is their religion, i don't see anything bad about that.
