This is such a beautiful song. So Hyang put her whole heart and soul into it. And you just talk and laugh through it all. Disrespectful.

1. At the time of this performance, Sohyang was suffering from severe pneumonia. Then her doctor asked her not to even speak, but she took the stage and showed the best performance. 2. The original song 'You Raise Me Up' was sung by Secret Garden(Original melody: Londonderry Air(Northern Ireland folk song), Arrangement: Rolf Løvland, Lyrics: Brendan Graham). The arrangement of this song is based on the original song. For reference, the two most famous covers of this song are the versions sung by Josh Groban and Westlife. 3. The man in the video is Shane Filan, the leader of Westlife.

So Hyang actually had pneumonia when she did this performance. Her doctor told her prior to the show not to do it but she didn't want to let down her fans. She has an almost constant battle with pneumonia due to a hepatitis B tainted blood transfusion in 1998 when she had serious uterine cancer surgery, just after getting married. It left her infertile but she thanks God for curing her through the prayers of her church. So she decided to dedicate her life to being a Contemporary Christian Gospel singer and trying to lift the spirits of those who are afflicted. She is a woman of a different cut, and what else can one say about it? We all LOVE her! And she is the best female vocalist alive today, IMHO! The man in the video is Shane Filan of the Irish group Westlife who had a hit with this same song. The TV program was dedicated to singing songs from that band.

Glad you chose to react to Sohyang, who, as you know now, is without a doubt among the best vocalists in the world we know. This rearranged You Raise Me Up is a masterpiece that packs of techniques and emotions for us to appreciate. Yes, listening to Sohyang's singing could also be physically draining for us uninitiated ones.

궁금한게 해외사람들은 웨스트 라이프를 아는 사람이 별로 없는건가 ㄷㄷ 활동당시엔 꽤 유명했다고 생각했는데.. 한국에서만 유명한 영국 보이그룹이였나요..

Shane Filan from Westlife. Westlife sang you raise me up up. This is a tribute to Shane Filan. Sohyang is a devoted Christian. The girl on the right a bit distracting keep laughing.

원곡자 아닙니다

잘 봤습니다. 노래하는 동안에는 얘기하려 하기보다 집중해서 끝까지 듣고나서.. 다시 돌려보며 감상에 대해 얘기하는게 훨씬 좋을 것 같습니다. 노래가 전하는 진정성을 온전히 느끼기에는 좀 아쉬운 방식이네요.

언제쯤 팔짱을 푸실까요 ㅋㅅㅋㅅㅋ

저는 다르게 봤어요. 오른쪽 젊은분은 이미 소향을 알고있고 좋아하며 분위기를 유도하는것 같았고 오히려 왼쪽 여성분은 처음부터 팔짱을 끼고 어디 한번 잘하나 보자 식이였고 생각보다 잘하니까 중요부분에서 집중도를 흐리는 모습이 보였어요. 전형적인 백인여성의 모습과 동양인젊은이의 모습이 아닐까 싶습니다.

리액션영상입니다. 영상볼때 부정적액트취하면서 리액션영상 상대에대해 무례한 행동을 한것도 아니고 나름 소향님에 놀라워하면서 리액션 해주시는걸로 보이는데 착잡하단 표현은 좀 맞지않는거 같네요. 산만하신것도 아니고.. 리액션취할때 자기성향이 드러나는건데 얌전하게 가만히 보고있으면 그게 리액션영상인가요? 표현하고 자기생각을 말하는건데 다 개인차가 있는거죠.
