I was also looking for this style of gin. They are not the same as the katana the Japanese use. I found a few places online that sell real Jingum some as low as 300 and as high as 2k good luck.

Kendo, Then Japan kinda forced it on Korea during WWII and they called it Kumdo and changed it slightly. And then this.. I dont know what this is. It doesnt look like either Kendo or Kumdo to me. It looks more like Iadio mixed with some kinda Wushu

There is actually 2 types of Kumdo. Daehan kumdo aka Kendo and Haidong Kumdo Daehan Kumdo is literally just kendo but with Korean names as the 2 countries share the same writing system of Kanji/hanja. Even Japanese teachers teach Koreans. This kumdo came from Japan during the occupation period of 1910-1945. Haidong Kumdo is garbage and the disgrace of Korean martial arts that spouts nonsense and teaches impractical techniques. I am a Korean and a historian and it makes me cringe when I hear about Haidong Kumdo.

According to the main editorial by the Chief Editor of Choson Ilbo, the biggest newspaper in South Korea, on Mar 6, 2012, Feb. 2, 2010 and Feb. 13, 2003, "Koreans lie as if they breathe” and “Koreans are the world’s biggest liar of all." Korea has the highest fraud rate and is the only country whose fraud rate exceeds that of robbery in OECD. Also, all of perjury, calumny and fraud rates in S Korea are some 160-670 times higher than those of Japan.
