Me too!! I really shipped these two. They were literally giving me these butterflies in my stomach and too bad Wook (according to Hae soo) was not honest to tell her that he wants the throne and he was also not brave enough to fight for her. I was so disappointed with him in the rain scene it just showed that love is not enough for two people who are in love but it needs greater trust and honesty to keep it going.

yes, even without much skinship like wang so does 'forcefully', his gaze towards her is enough to make us all melts, like you can really feel how he is in love with her😭

Kang haneul is so underrated as an actor. The man really makes the characters his own. I wish they do a new one with him and IU as leads in a historical setting too.

Their chemistry is insane,they made this drama more beautiful because of their sweet moments and good acting skills, the way wang wook glare at hae soo is so freaking sweeet aaackkk!!! and the smile Aaaahhhh!!!! i always have butterflies in my stomach because of this two HAHAHAHA but sadly, wang wook was stuck between his family or hae soo, and he realized that he made a big wrong decision, he became greedy that he wanted the throne because he said that his power is limited that's why he wanted to become a king to protect both of his fam and hae soo, until he betrayed his brother BUT he did that to hae soo WE ALL CAN SAY THAT HE'S REALLY INTO HER, but he achieved nothing. And until then hae soo have feelings for wang so but she still cares of wang wook. BUT from the first episode until the end i ship them alot, i've never ship someone to IU before not until kang ha neul appeared in the same drama . WERE STILL HOPING FOR SEASON 2 TO HAPPEN. AND LASTLY DID YOU ALL REMEMBER THE BEHIND THE SCENE WHEN THE DIRECTOR SAID TO THE BOTH OF THEM THAT THEY SHOULD PARTNER AGAIN IN MELODRAMA BECAUSE THEY LOOK GOOD HAHAHAHA AND THEN HA NEUL SAID THAT HE LIKES IT HAHAHAHAH OMG I HOPE SO😭 ♥

This is why I ship them so much. There's no need for so much skinship and kissing scenes. The glances, smiles, and the simple gestures made me fell for them really hard. They look so happy and it looked natural. Like they were really in love with each other as IU and Kang HaNeul. They were the definition of love.

Super agree of your comments. Hope to see Kang Ha Neul and IU as the main lead roles. I love their chemistry, the way Haneul stared at IU and the way IU smiled at Haneul. Off and on cameras they look like a real couple. It is my first time shipping a Korean love team. Among IU's leading men either on her Music Videos or TV series, only Haneul that I wished IU to have more future projects with.

priyanka kannepalli wook did all for her not for the greed to be king otherwise he would have already wanted to be king long back . if wang so was good for her.the ending would gave been different. it would have been better if she had ended with wook or jung? it was always wook and jung who loved soo selflessly not so .wang so fal in love with her just hecause she was the first one to show him love it was not out of love but out of soo kindness towards him .if he was better then he would have saved baek ah's girl he didnt care about othèrs but only those who helped .but wook and jung always love people because they were selfless..wang so hurted baek ah so badly only thinking about himself .wang so was no good .soo never kept her promise to wait for wook . just because wook left her in rain her love became less for him .but he didnt left her in rain for no reason he did because her damily .he thought soo would understand him and love him enough. I wonder why didnt she listen to tge king when ge told her to protect and not to take what she have at the present time for granted i.e wook .she left him just because he didnt protected her . to be honest the one who was the reason for her existence was wook .in the very first episode ..when she was new to the place .she locked herself in the room .it was wook who let her live .he was kind to everyone .he never wanted power or throne .all he wanted was hae soo .he encourage her to live happily they both were the source of happiness for one another . how can she forget all the things he had done for her .

Like putting myself in her shoes, id wait for wook bc thats love but if a friend of mine was soo, i wouldnt want her waiting on someone and getting hurt like that. Lets also consider her situation. wook had good intentions, but it was just executed wrongly. It's just that it's always the end that justifies the means, and wook has to face the negative consequences of his mistakes. im just upset at the queen and yeon hwa and his mam. like without their intervention, they couldve been happily married w children yk. it couldve been. also if only so chucked the fucking tea out well everything couldve been ok. Its frustrating af but yeah

But a sudden turn of events was inevitable. Although many HaeWook fans wanted them so badly but the circumstances they were in didn't allow them after all. I felt bad for HaeWook but their so-called intertwined fates just can't be changed and had to end that way. After all these years it's so nice to hear many fans still watch them.
