Lesson for parents here. If mum and dad back the young person and have a good relationship with them, children will stay on the right track. Sure we all fall off here and there but how parents perceive our short comings and their reactions is the make or break moment of how society will largely also view and treat the young person. I appreciate, this interview was much needed. It tells us the reality behind so called romantic love. The guy could keep the relationship without announcing for years. she wanted to make an announcement ( though there were other ways to do it) but at the end it turned out well. I think it's very necessary to know what's cooking inside your partner's head rather than staying in an illusion for a long time because (in our society) the most important thing which can tell the actual reality of your relationship is if you want to announce it or not.

She accepted her mistake and saying everything positively and realistically, besides giving a good lesson to our youth
