I’ve only ever heard the soundtrack, and was so confused as to why there was a song after road to hell (reprise) because it’s the perfect ending. The fact that it’s part of the curtain call floors me. Wow, what a concept. I wasn’t sure I liked hadestown, but god is it beautifully done. There’s no arguing that.

That's pretty accurate, I'm still not sure if I like hadestown or if it's a brain thing where you brain learns to like things on repeat but its masterfully created

This song is so beautiful, it’s like a detachment from the show, reminding the people the story and what the song is about. It reminds me of Eliza Hamilton breaking the fourth wall at the end as Lin walks her up to the front of the stage and she sees all the people that heard her story. Very well written and well placed. And my favorites song in the show

@@dylansmith1833 lmao usher here and uh since its copyright law we gotta make sure yall don't record the things the company say isn't allowed, ain't no "bitchy" and "rude" about it. The fact is that your phone screen is distracting af for everyone else tho even if it wasn't illegal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ one day theatre will be accessible like Hamilton without having to spend so much, and I really hope as a Broadway fan it's soon cause then nobody will need to record and everyone can enjoy awesome shit like this both live and in their homes 😁

i didnt realize this was after the curtain call, but thats honestly genius. also, cool to know Reeve (and id assume any other Orpheus-es) is actually playing throughout the show and not just using the guitar as a prop, might have to go between this for the chord shapes and the official version to get the sound right to figure out how to play it, cause its a beautiful piece.
