For this playthrough I did many runs to get through, about 12 hours worth. So for the edit, I thought it was best to show all the relevant dialogues and scenes to thread together the story. I didn't want to leave all my deaths in, even though that part of the nature of roguelikes. I loved it and can't wait for the full release! More content coming soon!

this time, we take control of Hades's daughter, Melione, (in the myths, she is the Goddess of Ghosts) and unlike her brother, Zagreus, who was fighting to get out of the Underworld to locate his birth mother, Persephone, Melione was trying to get into the Underworld to save her birth father, Hades, from the Titan of Time, Kronos, and assisting and training Melione is Hekate, Goddess of Witchcraft, who taught Melione to use combat magic, and on the way to save her father, Melione gains the aids of Olympians and other allies

on a side note, it appears that Melione learned moon magic from Hekate in the myths, there are actually 3 Greek Goddesses related to the moon Hekate represents the new moon, Artemis represents the crescent moon, Selene represents the full moon

I find it really sad that Persephone was stolen from the full experience of being a mother twice. The Fates must dislike her.

Hmm pretty decent looking game. Bastion vibe except the deaths. I like it.

It is. Some of the art here is a placeholder for the actual art of the finished game. It's not 100% done yet but they wanted people to play what was done so far. :)
