Feeling the heat of a mundane job? Have you ever thought about a career with versatility? One where you can use your hands and no two days are the same?
You’re not alone. Zach Squires was the same way and now enjoys the work he does as an HVACR technician.
Zach grew up with familiarity of the skilled trades due to his father’s occupation as an electrician. But it wasn’t until after Zach’s time in the military that he discovered his interest in HVACR. What really sealed the deal to pursue technical training was the approach to teaching.1
“The biggest thing would probably be the amount of hands-on work because you’re actually doing it there. You’re not just learning about it in a classroom," says Zach.
We mean it when we say that our training programs are hands-on. “You work in the lab almost every day and actually get to see what you’re going to come across in the field,” shares Zach.
Curious to know what a day as an HVACR tech looks like? According to Zach, “It changes every day. It’s never the same thing. It’s not repetitive.” If you’re interested in learning more, watch his video!
