An amazing level of skill here. So I got tons of hours to go back and watch. I already quit watching the other vids like yours cause you are by far the best, they don’t compare to you. He didn't flip it over. He just was trying the 'new' side dump feature for the first time.

I didn't realize that these dumpers had that much swivel; sure save on the running gear in that most engines don't like to run on there sides! HaHa!
Here in alaska it would be a air strip for a float plane. Trust me, seen them leave in fifty feet loaded to backbone of the noisy rascals. Those are all engine and enough space for one person plus a thousand pounds of what ever is needed. I don't remember names of them anymore but wish I did
Opps. Well, they're made to tip over like that. At least the cab stayed wheels down!
@Agnemons

No. they are not "made" to tip over like that. They can usually survive it with minimal damage but they are designed to do that.
Holy cow Chris! I’ve been watching your daily vids for over a year now. I’m disabled and bedridden so always looking for stuff for my boredom and help deal with the pain. Came across this vid recommended from a couple years ago. I know you have amazing skill now but figured it would be amateur hour from several years ago. Boy was I wrong. An amazing level of skill here. So I got tons of hours to go back and watch. I already quit watching the other vids like yours cause you are by far the best, they don’t compare to you. I typically watch hunting and fishing vids and your stuff now. Thanks for helping with my pain and boredom bro 👍😎
Equipment can always be replaced but human life cannot. I am glad that John is good and laughing about it.
That's a lot of digging. Love pond work. Great video 👍👍
I like the thumb cam. It gives a nice view of what you are digging, the bucket filling the truck and then the truck driving away. Coupled with your drone footage makes for a nice combination.
I LOVE THAT RED WHITE AND BLUE, THE WING ENJOYS PLAY WITH HER WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FLAG WITH HAVE.
Unk said, "It was just in Slo-Motion" !! And fell over...lololol..... That drone shot was pretty cool, Man , that machine is a Beast too !! Tell ya what, for just you 2 guys , you get a lot done each day !! That shot on yesterdays video, where ya had it down in the hole looking back at the machine was pretty killer too !! Great as always Chris !! HAve a Great Evening Man ... On too the Next !!
Is that one of them new fangled side dumps??? Chris, you set that beast down like a new born baby!! Nice job!!!!!
I think a lot of people would like too hear uncle John talk, have a great day too all
Someone's getting really good at flying a drone and editing music to video. Great job!
Love the boom view! So close i could smell the dirt and feel the dust lol
Loved the gold rush reference glad no one was hurt, Enjoy the mastery of your skill with all your equipment. Thanks Chris... Sort of reminds me of weables wobble but they don't fall down
Hey Chris !! Glad John wasn't hurt as you DIDN"T even scratch the paint on the truck !! Hope ALL goes well the rest of the week !! ""KEEP IT SAFE ""!!
good to see John up and about and in good spirits about it
i often see dumptrucks roll over like that on other projects , good that nothing happened to john.main thing is that john is alright and no damage to the truck there.pond looking good there, nice drone shots chris .i like drone videos like this one, makes it kinda interesting to see everything from the outside perspective.i also liked the bucket action with the camera, lol funny that.thought the camera was gonna get squashed between the dirt and the thumb there for a while lol.
Wow that side dump trailer saves the whole the cab from turning over. Another great video. 😀👍🇨🇦
Wow that is some huge operation. Love the camera angle from the bucket. Just pop the old dump truck over and away you go.
We had an old dishwasher at this one place I used work. Anytime anybody would drop something he would yell "THAT DONT GO THERE" in a super thick nc mountain accent. I use it often. That don't go there 🤣🤣🤣
I was hoping to see your heron friend again today. The "thumb's eye" view is cool, hope we see more of that.
Great! You said Goldrush now all I can think of is "NO GUTS NO GLORY"
Glad no one was hurt. Even the truck just dusted it self off and - with some mighty fine help - got back up and went back to work. Sweet.
That was impressive, to flip that back over like a little Tonka truck in the sandbox. As well, that there was no damage to the linkage on the truck. Great to see the outcome. And great camera placement close to the excavator bucket. Interesting to see the view from there.

@@marcryvon there was around 10 straight trucks a year turned over where i used to work and only real damage was the door/mirror and hoods when they flexed over then whip smacked the ground. Drivers usually had some bumps and bruises but the trucks were off road only retired on road trucks so what couldnt be patched was left off till the trucks died lol. Surprised me none of the lift cylinders or frames ever broke though
Great video!! Loved the tunes and the drone footage was the cat's "meow"!
That truck just came back upright just as if it was a toy. Good angel round about 17 mins in.

I find Dirt Perfects friendly banter between him and his friends is refreshing and he teaches at the same time. I’ve laughed out loud many a time watching his stuff and don’t believe it’s scripted. He may take a retake trying to get the words to come out but you put a camera in your face and let’s see how you do. Chris gets the stuff done, Dirt perfect makes you laugh.. I need to laugh
I've seen wiggle wagons tip (that's what we call them here in Canada) and generally they tip them back up and away they go!
That drone angle really shows the size of the bucket well.
Great drone footage ,giving a greater view ,well done
I'm so glad he's OK and that you were able to right it, Chris. Were you really that cool, calm, and collected???
“Saw this on Gold Rush once” LOl 🤣

Love the "Scoop scope", I can dig it!
That went well, shows how safe they are when the front part stays where it is. Baling dirt looked good from above bro. Safe travels
Enjoyable video, great working in good soil.
My brother has been an excavator operator for over 30 years. Watching your videos has given me a renewed respect for what he does. I've heard a few "pucker factor" stories and I'm thinking, NO way in hell would I do that. Thanks for the great videos.
Absolutely beautiful drone shots. Love the flag.
Love the bucket-cam view.
And many thanks for the customer allowing these vidios to be shot.
watchin the bucket angle got me thinkin, if you took a long reach ol diggin cavator and fab'd up a seat with a quick attach and stuck that puppy on where the bucket should be... money 👌👌
Being in the cab when the bed of an articulated truck turns over is quite the feeling. Your Uncle John isn't lying about it feeling like slow motion, but no matter how slow it feels you can't react fast enough to do anything about it other than hope for the best. Certainly glad that everyone and everything came out fine
"I saw this on Gold Rush once" LMAO
I'm glad that nothing/no one got hurt in the flipped truck. I find it amazing that the truck can flip with the bed at full hoist and nothing gets broke. I didn't expect the centre pivot to flex that much.
Just happy that both of you are ok, machinery can be replaced..
That drone footage was Awesome.
Aww man, that wide angle shot from the (drone?) is just perfect! Really great view of the whole project.
Good to see that John did not get hurt!! Good thing the dump is articulated style.
I'm glad Uncle John is ok. same goes for the truck
Chris: The unit dumps out the rear. Uncle John: Hold my beer!
This is my favorite letsdig18 video! Fine camera work, fun music fill, and plenty of digging!
John's got that "Oh crap" look on his face.
It's a pleasure watching your videos. You have one of the smoothest cycles I have ever seen on a machine. Wishing you the best . Thank you for sharing your videos.
Looks like you've got a lot of digging to do. I was amazed there was no damage and no hassle flipping the truck back over. Thanks for sharing. :)
When you mentioned gold rush what popped in my head was people running and screaming "TURN IT OFF..TURN IT OFF"!!!😂😂😂 I thought it was going to roll again as you took that arial video of Uncle John taking that load to dump😮. Glad he was okay. Great video..as always. 👍☺
Thank you for the drone shot following the haul truck around pretty cool to watch from aerial view 👍
I work in a landfill, and we have 5 articulated dump trucks. Ours rollover on occasion as well. Most of the time, damage is just to the flexible exhaust for the heated body. Glad there were no injuries.
Always great to see the drone view especially when you show the big girl digging and John in the big truck going to dump the load! Really good video, thanks for sharing brother!👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Pretty good articulation on your truck.
Yes! I like the camera angle from the dirt’s prospective. Glad to see the addition of new angles. Keeping the content fresh!
He’s not the first person to roll a rock truck over. And won’t be the last.Sometimes it’s from horsing around and sometimes by the unknown.
WOW! Astonished nothing got "bent or broke". Great job guys. Thumbcam! Interesting
Glad everyone was ok. You can fix anything. Even a side ways truck!👍
This is why I hate TV and love KZread. Nothing is fake and it’s legit and straight to the point. Probably would of thrown that generic honking with it falling over.
Oh, oh! Upside down in the truck! 😆 🤣
Thanks for the drone view, was wondering where the load was going,
Great dirt close-ups and drone footage.
The drone footage was a nice change of pace! Good job on flipping the haul truck back upright!
When your dump truck...well....takes a dump. 😄
Really really like the different views from the drone, on the arm and down in the hole looking back at the machine!!
With that heavy load and the angles, it’s gonna happen some time. Nice job of rolling it back up GENTLY. !!
Fantastic footage today. Loved the drone following the truck.
I did not realize that piece of equipment could swivel at the hips that way. At least the cab and engine stayed upright.

Absolutely loved the bucket cam view!!!! I would’ve turned it a little further away from the thumb so that u could see the bucket digging the entire time but awesome view though!!!! Also loved the drone video part of u loading the truck!!! Awesome job Chris!!!
That's gonna be a big hole of water! And that's some fine looking topsoil too. Need that Kenworth to carry a load home each day but... If I remember correctly, you said y'all aren't close to home on this job. I'm glad Uncle John is ok and tell him thanks for the excitement on this video! 🙆
Love the camera shot from the bucket and drone and cab. Interesting listening to you and your approach to work. Thanks for your expertise. From Petrolia, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
I've seen them dumped many times...it really doesn't even hurt them. Hurts the pride more than anything.
An 18 wheeler long bed did the same thing and fell over. Course it HAD to be at a site right beside the major highway to the community... That was the talk of the town for awhile.
Just like you with the thumb, I learned something new. I didn't know those trucks were designed that way. Who'da thunk.
You need a disclaimer... Mike Morgan "this is NOT the Trailer Side Unload Challenge"... 🤣
Liking the drone footage 👌🏻
