Yes, this is all true, also in the evening if it’s colder you should open all windows and doors to let the cold in and the next hot day not to open them so u will have cold air inside

As an Australian also some tips; Cooling mats to sit on Cold face cloths on the back of the neck and under arms and boobs (if applicable) Spray bottle in front of fan also works a treat if you don’t mind getting misted. Also cold showers and limited moving. That’s how I survive as someone who overheats who doesn’t have working AC.

Even if the water isn't cold you can put water on your wrists, shake the excess of and then shake them about to force it to evaporate. The evaporation will cool you down a bit

What helps me stay cooler is spraying cold water on my bare feet and leave them wet. Then applying more as they dry. Also, before going to sleep, I spray the entire bed with cold water, too. It dries pretty fast because of hot it is, but it at least keeps me cool. By the way, I do not turn on the ac all the time because of how expensive the bill is. This is why I carry my spray bottle with me all summer and constantly spray myself with cold water to stay cool.

@@KatieDeGo our usual temp is like- 1-10 C, sometimes higher sometimes lower so. but our heat wave was prob like- 23-30 C , but I'm not completely sure, somewhere around there, maybe a lil hotter(this was last year and my memory sucks goldfish) So we were being baked alive, not fun, 1/10 would not recommend :)

@@AVerySinglePringle sorry but I’m in Edinburgh and not if any many people have air conditioning in there houses, unless you have the AC units on wheels our climate doesn’t justify having it , I use a maeco air circulation fan in every room and place it next to a window so it draws in the air and blows it back out a few degrees cooler and barely costs £1 a day

"It's getting pretty hot outside" me in Singapore:WDYM it is ALWAYS hot

Summers in Sydney, when I was younger I'd go outside and hose myself off to cool down then go back inside and keep playing video games. (I'd be in just shorts and dry in 10minutes)
