The interesting thing is that the empty path in the path expansion pack works better than the one in the game. The empty path in the expansion pack is truly transparent. Even if you place it out of thin air, it will not automatically become a normal road.

I don't know (as interesting as some of these mods seem to be...) whether it would be worth the risk to me to use mods in Planet Zoo... As it seems to be a lot more difficult than it was for example with the good old Sim City 4 (where I had about 2-300+ Mods) and always has that risk to destroy the game (and maybe to loose everything in the end). Would they add something like a mod manager (like some other developer did it with their games....SCS-Software is a good example), which gives you full control over the mods, I would maybe think about using mods in Planet Zoo, but definitely not as it is at the moment...

There is little to no risk. If you install a modded animal, leave it in the trade center, yes, it will crash if you remove it. However, you can load back in with the mod installed and you will be fine. The hysteria around mods is very much blown out of proportion when it comes to the idea of “losing” a map when there is always a solution. The modding community is always there to help ❤

I'm pretty sure the reason the iguana floats is that it's not updated to 1.13. This was a common problem. Also, 1500 seals is quite a lot for a population in the wild. In comparison, there are only about 600 Asiatic lions left in the wild, about 100 Amur leopards, less than 80 Sumatran rhinos and about ten vaquitas left in the wild. This is the harsh truth.

i mean, if you compare it that way, you could also say 5 sqkm of forest burning is less dramatic than 50. But at the end, a freaking huge forest is burning. Same with those animals. Its pointless, at some point they are critically endangered...

There is a path in the pack that was added just before the tropical pack came out that looks almost identical to the one one in the tropical pack.

My game is unstable enough as it is, so adding mods to it, no matter how good they are, is a no for me
