Skate blog: 'Haarlem - Hoorn, rainbow tour'
Torrential rain or not? Nothing! It just stayed dry! With a strong southwest wind, Henk Jan and the undersigned decided to give it a try. Henk Jan on the big fast wheels, me on the smaller rain wheels. That was hard work for me!
Saw beautiful villages, full of nostalgia (and associated cobblestones). Haarlem, Assendelft, Krommenie, Markenbinnen, West-Graftdijk, Driehuizen, Grootschermer, via the Molendijk to Ursem then we visited Avenhorn. The last part was really flying along the Provincial road towards Hoorn. We both took a train there. Henk Jan a world trip to Zaandam and I via Sloterdijk to Haarlem. We were home at the same time ;-)
