I think its cause she still needed space to deal with her family stuff back then but she still loves lewis. Lewis should really listen to them I felt so sorry for Cleo when Charlotte kissed Lewis. Charlotte is selfish and she is a snoop , She's kind of a stalker as well. Also, Cleo's personal feelings aside, she also had the mermaid-stress factored in and Lewis by no means was in the right this situation to purposefully take Charlotte to Mako.
