Word on the curb is that Jessica (Kayja’s mom) started dating when Dino was still alive and she was given Joe’s last name. Dino’s family allegedly was upset by this and listed her last name as “Connor” on his obituary even though it was “Rogan”👀👀…

1990-96 was the sexiest era of R&B/Soul and these guys were part of that. I was waaaay too young to be listening to these albums but I did lmao. Can't beat H-Town, En Vogue, Boyz II Men, SHAI, Color Me Badd, Mariah Carey, BBD, Silk, Bobby Brown, TLC, Mark Morrison, Keith Sweat, Tony! Toni! Tone! & all the rest. How sweet they dedicated the 2nd album to Nicole Brown Simpson.😔 That's actually really brave because of all the support OJ was getting in the community & shows they cared about domestic abuse and WOMEN regardless of race. No wonder the label was like "shut up and sing". Damn. R.I.P. Dino.

They were legendary! Dino was a superstar and had it all. R.I.P brother.

A month from now will be 20 years since Dino died

H-Town also appeared on the song U Will Know as a part of Black Men United off the Jason's Lyric soundtrack

Dino was one of a kind. Sad that he died so young and so tragically.

H Town is defintely one of my fav 90s R&B groups. I wish they had more of an opportunity to go overseas and even be even bigger than they were in the U.S (When Dino was alive) Rest in heavenly peace Dino, his girlfriend and unborn baby. EDIT: Them doing that interview with in shackles to get a point across, i wouldn't be shocked if thats why they didnt go as far in the industry! They spoke up for themselves and didn't back down. Labels dont like that. They want you to go along to get along.

Emotions, Knockin Da Boots, Part Time Lover, and They Like It Slow are my FAVORITE H-Town songs. I play these songs daily !

Almost everyone in middle school was singing "Knocking da 🥾 s"! Me and my friends outside school would be playing that song! It was infectious 👍! After all that they went through they're still around doing music. Rip Dino🙏!

This is one group that I feel is an underrated absolute gem of '90s R&B! Dino's voice was anointed! I remember a few years ago when I watched their unsung for the first time, I was shocked to find out how young they were! Dino was 18 sounding like a full grown seasoned man! I heard "They Like It Slow" for the first time a few years ago on the radio while on my way home from work. I knew the voice sounded familiar but I couldn't bring H-Town to my mind, but my thought to myself was "this sounds like someone in their late 30s at least). I'm glad you mentioned how special Shazam and Dino were in the looks department too. Dino is still one of the sexiest guys I've ever seen! There's a quick clip of them rehearsing shortly before Dino's death in the early 2000s where Dino was shirtless, his abs were AMAZING, and he looked cuter than ever! He only got more attractive as he got older. I see Shazam has gotten extremely toned abs lately as well but he has declined significantly in the looks department since their career heyday. I often wonder how Dino would look if he was still here with us considering him and Shazam favored so much when they were young.

My favorite songs off their 3rd album are Special Kinda Fool, Married Man (a must-listen), and They Like it Slow. I believe their 2nd album is my favorite because they have SO many dope songs on there🙌🏾🎵

Based on what I'm seeing online, Luke Records was independent and didn't even have a distribution deal with a major label except for 1990 to 1993. H-Town's two albums with Luke came out in 1993 and 1994. So how can they complain about not getting a bigger push?? Most indy records don't even chart in the Billboard 200 and there's did pretty well.

I suggest u watch the entire H Town Unsung to get a clearer visible outlook on what happened with Luke Records! Like most grouos in the era the label ripped them off and they had nothing to show for it. Thats why both Shazzamm and GI were both shocked when Dino talked to the Relativy CEO like that on the phone! They were offered 2 million a piece to record another cd. Thats more moneybthan they ever made from both labels combined!

While beauty is subjective, I think most would agree the brothers were the pretty ones. Aesthetically, they were quite unequally-yolked. I can only imagine how insecure the other guy must have felt when he was so clearly not on their level. I could often see his trying hard to be sexy, but he just wasn't. Some just have it and some just don't. On his own, he was handsome, but when put side-by-side with the brothers, he was miles behind them in beauty and sex appeal.
