হাত চেটে খাওয়ার মত নতুন একটি মাছের রেসিপি যে কোন মাছ দিয়ে তৈরি করতে পারবেন || fish curry

Here's a recipe for Bangla Style Fish Curry, a flavorful and aromatic dish popular in Bengali cuisine:
Ingredients:
500 grams fish fillets (such as tilapia, hilsa, or catfish)
2 medium onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 green chilies, slit lengthwise
4 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece of ginger, grated
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
2-3 tablespoons mustard oil (or any cooking oil)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions:
Clean the fish fillets thoroughly and cut them into pieces of desired size. Pat them dry with paper towels and sprinkle with a little salt and turmeric powder. Set aside.
Heat mustard oil in a deep pan or kadhai over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
Add the chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
Now, add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies to the pan. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and pulpy.
Add the turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder to the pan. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant.
Pour in about 1 cup of water to the pan and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Carefully place the fish pieces into the simmering gravy. Cover the pan and let the fish cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Once the fish is cooked, adjust the seasoning with salt and add more water if needed to adjust the consistency of the gravy.
Garnish the fish curry with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
Serve the Bangla Style Fish Curry hot with steamed rice or roti. You can also serve it with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
