I have never seen a group with so much talent, so much love for music and so much friendship for each other. I think that's what can be heard in their music. It makes their music a living phenomenon. I've listened to Doppo at least 200 times, on KZread, in the car, walking and just listening, and I just realized that even though the songs are different and the story within songs are slightly different, Doppo reminds me so much of that classic ballad "On My Own" by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald. And I think that Machiya, being the writer of Doppo, would agree with me if he heard the song. Both songs are classic tales of love on the rocks.

I am always amazed at the variety of songs composed by Machiya. Doppo is so different from Homura. It is especially nice to see Yuko playing the piano. Their voices are so beautiful and perfect together. I hope Yuko has recovered and is home with her new baby girl.
