1960年代半ば。移住ブームも末期となり、日本から海外へ移住する人が減少したこの時代に、海を渡りブラジルへと移住を志した日本人がいた。
なぜ移住を志したのか。なぜブラジルなのか。
そして、日本へと帰ってきて今、彼が思うこととは。

In the mid-1960s, the emigration boom was in its final stages and the number of Japanese emigrating to other countries was decreasing.
But there was one Japanese guy who wished to emigrate to Brazil during this period.
Why did he want to emigrate? Why Brazil?

Meados da década de 1960. Na época em que o boom migratório estava na sua fase final e o número de japoneses que emigravam para outros países diminuía, um japonês quis atravessar o oceano para emigrar ao Brasil.
Por que ele decidiu emigrar? Por que Brasil? E, agora de volta ao Japão, o que ele pensa?
Este é um vídeo trazido aos senhores pelo Museu da Emigração e Centro de Intercâmbio Cultural de Kobe, local em que a emigração se iniciou, e foca a entrevista valiosa de um japonês que emigrou ao Brasil.
