Why doesn't the Senior Monl who reads the announcements near the beginning give this responsibility to a native speaker of English? It is close to impossible - at the very least difficult to understand his poor pronunciation of English words. Shouldn't a Monk's seniority be considered LESS important that his English speaking level? (For the sake of facilitating the audience's ability to hear and comprehend?)
