I recently visited Haji Mohammad Hussain Fried Chicken in Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, with high hopes of savoring the reputed delights of this iconic establishment. However, my dining experience left much to be desired, and I can't help but express my disappointment. Firstly, the location was challenging to find, and when I finally arrived, the cramped and congested surroundings did not add to the restaurant's appeal. The lack of proper seating arrangements made it uncomfortable for dining, especially during busy hours when the place was packed with people. The service at Haji Mohammad Hussain Fried Chicken was mediocre at best. The staff seemed disorganized and overwhelmed by the number of customers. It took an unnecessarily long time for someone to take my order, and even then, they appeared impatient and uninterested in assisting with any questions I had about the menu. Now, let's discuss the main highlight - the fried chicken. Sadly, it did not live up to its hype. While the chicken was indeed crispy on the outside, the meat inside was disappointingly dry and lacked any distinctive flavor. It seemed like the chicken had been sitting out for too long, losing its freshness. The accompanying sauces were average at best and did little to enhance the taste. In addition to the underwhelming chicken, the side dishes were nothing to write home about. The fries were soggy and appeared to be reheated multiple times, which made them far from appetizing. The lack of variety in side options was also a letdown, as it left me craving for more exciting choices to complement the main dish. Moreover, the hygiene of the restaurant left much to be desired. The dining area looked unclean, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that the kitchen might not be up to the highest standards either. It's essential for any dining establishment to prioritize cleanliness, and sadly, Haji Mohammad Hussain Fried Chicken fell short in this aspect. Finally, the pricing seemed a bit steep considering the overall lackluster experience. I expected the taste and quality to justify the cost, but unfortunately, that was not the case. In conclusion, my visit to Haji Mohammad Hussain Fried Chicken in Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, left me disappointed and questioning the hype surrounding this place. The underwhelming chicken, lack of attention to cleanliness, and mediocre service made for a less-than-stellar dining experience. While the historical significance of the restaurant might be appealing to some, I cannot recommend it for anyone seeking a truly satisfying fried chicken experience.

I visited Jama masjid area yesterday and agree to all your points. I went to Aslam chicken but condition there were same as you mentioned. Jama masjid food videos are only good when you watch from home on KZread; going there in real is a daunting task and will only give you poor experience.

I not at all judging you as your taste is absolutely same which I like as Punjabi's. & best part is fans like me gets opportunity to meet you & have food with you on same table. Though I didn't 😢 get chance yet

Restaurants in Jama Masjid are very overrated and overhyped. Zakir Nagar is much better place to try kebabs, tikkas, biryanis, etc. Also Ghalib in Hazrat Nizamuddin is good Or better we can eat in many places in West Delhi and East Delhi which people hardly know of and serve good food. Some of them have been covered by u and other food bloggers while many remain unexplored

Bhooka Saand u need to have real foodies in your food gang who can disect food......People who can't differentiate good quality spices , Oil,Quality of Chicken is a futile exercise......Majority of shops in Jama Masjid have mushroomed courtesy the Insta Hype....Genuine shops are very few.....Foodie channels are meant to give the correct info....Best of Luck keep up the good job
