I watched the whole game live and it was actually an entertaining game to watch. I love the way Carol/Babara played in the tournament. Two Brazillian veterans at 36 years of age showed great experience and technique throughout the match. However, in professional sports, age is just something that you can't get over with. It is apparent that the Brazillian pair are not as fresh in terms of stamina compared to the younger Swiss pair. Whenever the Braillians tried to catch up, they just need that one last breath to break it through to have an advantage, but the Swiss were very resilient against the Brazillian pair. I personally like the 2016 Rio Olympics Barbara more compared to the one right now in terms of court coverage, defense, etc. Speaking of Carol, in this match, she played a great match. However, it is easily seen that she is already worn out half way through the match. The fight with Huberli at the net was both mentally and physically exhausting for Carol. There were some bad receptions and her attacks were blocked for a few times. I am not saying that this Brazillian pair isn't capable of achieving something successful, but you just have to realize they are starting to show some limit on their potential in the future.
