I can't imagine having such a wonderful collection. They are rolling palaces. The woodwork and the stoves all just amazing. They are so homey and how lovely of a rolling home. I am simply amazed and wish these were the norm today.

Wow! Thanks that was awesome to see them up close like that. I didn't realize they had stoves in them. They are so beautiful and ornate. And I think you said this is where the chickens were kept? How ingenious. My gypsy granny was born in one in the USA in about 1895 her family came to the states from England. Her distant cousin Gordon Boswell has a museum in the UK. I mostly enjoyed when you explained what was what and what part it was used for

Lovely video thanks. I have a Reading Caravan which I took apart when living in the UK due to poor condition I have it here in Cambria Calif which I will rebuild. I believe Roger Daltrey has a great collection maybe that's them. I also believe these caravans are very rare due to the fact true Gypsy when they died would be burned in them not sure about that. My caravan has also few small brass decorative pieces. The wheels were rebuilt in Ashford in Oak Thanks again I'm expat,

I am amazed at the detail that came with a "speed of horse" world. The famous "painted ladies" of San Francisco, USA have much more detail than modern Victorian style homes will ever have. The same seems to be true for the wagons. I am a beekeeper in the US and build my own Layens style hives. They are horizontal and over a meter long. I am getting information on painting them in s very simplifies version to look like a Travelers' encampment in my apiary. Do any have a peaked roof?
