My cousin did the same thing. Three months after the fanciest wedding and changing her daughter’s last name got pregnant with someone else . She remarried at the courthouse and has been with the affair guy for seventeen years . My mom said they argued about divorce before it happened like she was planning it. She wanted an alcoholic partner like herself .

In Louisiana, you have to use your husband’s last name on the birth certificate? What if you want to hyphen the last names or use the mom’s last name? I imagine most people are traditional and would prefer to use the husband’s last name. However, there have been some cases where the family prefers to use the wife’s last name or hyphen the wife’s and husband’s last name.🤷‍♀️
